I know that a lot of us that go to WDW, go by car. Share you stories about your travels. I have a few. One of mine is:
We live in Chattanooga, which is about 8 and a half hours from Orlando. We left for one trip about 5am, so we could spend the afternoon in EPCOT before we checked into our Hotel. Well, we make one stop on the highway that's about an hour north of Atlanta and then we don't stop for another 4 hours in south Georgia.
After stopping my DW and DS's went to sleep. Once south of Atlanta I was making really good time. Guys will understand this, I was beating my best time ever. Well I had gotten one of those 32oz coffees at our first stop.
Someplace at around Macon I started to get that restroom feeling. Seeing as I was making great time, the roads were empty, we still had plenty of gas, and everyone was asleep. I ignored my call to nature. By the time we got to south Georgia about 2 exits before the state line and stopped. I couldn't move, I had to waddle to the restroom.
My DW just kept saying, if I've to go ,I don't care we stop right then. Like I said, it's a guy thing. We did average 70 miles an hour all the way until we got off the Florida turn pike in Lee's Burg. Yes the pain was worth it. Would I do it again, NO! That was really painful, you could hurt something!
