Anyone one have a review of the L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante?

What dishes to avoid and which ones not to miss...


My mife and I are going there the end of jan... any input would be great.

I ate there. I found the staff & theme very nice but the portions are overpriced (i.e. small portions & large bill). The food is nothing terribly special. But hey, if you're on vacation and dont mind the splurge, it's great.

The dining hall is huge and its a little less than personal, but I'd say it's pretty authentic.

I'd have to agree with Quickgold on this. The food there is a bit overpriced, and what we had wasn't the best stuff ever. There were 2 of us that ate there and for a plate of fettucini alfredo and a plate of spaghetti with meat balls, we paid $40. and as far as the spaghetti is concerned, I could have made better at home. The staff, while pleasant, wasn't very attentive or even very knowledable (we asked what kind of bread it was that they were serving and our waitress had to go back and ask, and she's supposed to be FROM Italy).

hmmm bread we have that in Italy lol


Maybe my wife and I will consider another choice....

Our first choice is the Coral Reef restaurant.. but we are looking to change it to a place we haven't been to.

In Epcot we've been to

• Coral Reef
  Le Cellier Steakhouse
  Restaurant Akershus
  San Angel Inn
  Teppanyaki Dining Room

We are looking for a nice quiet romantic place... any suggestions

the restaurant in the middle of Mexico (I forget the name of hand, but I'll find/post it) is a very romantic restaurant. Right in front of the volcano/village at night with the boat ride going by every few minutes. The only thing I think that would be a drawback would be the sound. As all of Mexico is indoors, the sound just seems to echo quite a bit, and if there are alot of people talking, it can get fairly loud...

But, as far as the ambiance, you can't beat it, even in Italy...

Edit: Nevermind. It's the San Angel Inn. Didn't realize it. you said you've already eaten there. My bad...

The Nine Dragons Restaurant in China looks good...

Bistro de Paris (France, obviously) also looks fairly nice...

And, are you looking to eat ONLY at EPCOT, or are you open for any restaurant on Disney Property? Cause there are some nice places at the Grand Floridian or Contemporary that might be worth checking out.

take a look at what WDW suggests for "Romantic and Relaxing dinner spots". Some of the places on the list I've heard are REALLY good...

It's not. Alot like Italy. Overpriced and nothing special.

Hehe.. thanks anyway.. it is a nice place.... One of my favs.

I will check out your link. My wife and I were thinking about Epcot but are open to other locations... Thanks for all advice so far

No pun intended I'm sure ha ha ha

San Angel Inn or Le Cellier are better choices in my opinion. San Angel has authentic Mexican food and the atmosphere is amazing, although the tables can be close together so ask for a table by the water. Le Cellier has a nice atmosphere, not as romantic but they've got excellent food -- try the cheese soup if you go!

You'll pay theme park premiums wherever you dine at on Disney keep in mind.
