What's the difference between Test Track and World of Motion?
TWO General Motors rides, World of Motion was a great ride until it got replaced by the new and powerful Test Track!
What's the difference between these great and mostly intense rides? the differences and the alikes!
Also you get vote which is better?
Test Track or World of Motion?

Having only been on Test Track, leaves me only one vote. looking at the attractions i prefer a thrill ride. Epcot needed the kick to get it alive. Lets hope Disney starts retiring the lame stuff instead of the good stuff.

Definitely World of Motion.
I like the quiet, informational speed. Gary Owens' voice, the humor.

The 15-min or so of A/C!

While fun, I can get the same experience from Test Track by putting the roof down on a convertible and pretty much driving around town.
World of Motion was a classic dark ride and I sorely miss it.
(Edited to add - I'd say the same thing about Horizons over Mission: Space. Not enough classic dark rides at Disney anymore.)

World of Motion, no contest.
Sure, the thrills of Test Track are nice, but I still have that special place in my heart for World of Motion. I guess it's more nostalgia now than anything, but looking back on it, I really loved that ride.

I really enjoy Test Track, a lot. It is one of those must do rides. But World of Motion was original, and really fit more into the theme of how we advanced, and how we are advancing. I don't remember much about it, but I remember enough to know I really enjoyed it.

World of Motion, no contest. I like Test Track, but it's missing the storytelling element of World of Motion. That element was a part of Horizons as well and the journeys through time seemed to pull all of Future World together.

I'm not a fan of the theme song for WoM, so my vote goes to Test Track

Wold of Motion, I think the ride was fun and relaxing. Also for sentimental value too. That ride was there when I first started going to Disney World.

WoM for me, I like the longer slower dark rides. If I want the thrill of driving in a car I'll just think back to the drive I made to get to WDW. With the Orlando area freeways you get pretty much the same experience; Go - Stop - Go - quick turns to avoid idiots - hit the brakes real hard... everything but being able to drive at freeway speeds.

I liked World of Motion better than Test Track because Test Track is not much different than driving in a convertible down the interstate. Yes the crash test is cool, but that's not worth taking down World of Motion.
Going through history of travel, the invention of the wheel, and a glimpse of tomorrow. Now its just an excuse to go fast and sell GM band cars.

This is one of the only epcot pavilions I really have no opinion on. WoM isn't really as sentimental to me as the other original pavilions and had a theme song that gave small world a run for its money. Test Track is a much different ride, but to me, they're about equal for the 'fun' level, and they were both averagely 'fun' to me, nothing mind-blowing impressive, but still worth riding each visit. I went with Test Track because that's just what I felt like picking at the moment.

Test Track shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as its incredible predecessor. While Test Track may amuse for the first two or three rides, its sterile thrills soon wear off once one realizes that it’s not much different than driving on a freeway. On the contrary, World of Motion was unquestionably one of the three or four greatest rides at EPCOT Center, and had more subtlety, charm, and substance than the entire east side of today’s Epcot.

Both where/are good. The problem is WoM was very different than Test Track. WoM was the transportation equilivent to SSE for communications. TT is a lot of fun, but it's "Fun" it doesn't really tell you about the history of transportation, or about how test facilities work.
