I am thinking about reserving the Chef's Domain room at Citricos but can't find any menus. Has anyone ever done this? Is it worth it to choose this option or better to just reserve a regular table and opt for the wine pairing?

I've not done it. But I've seen it on the Food Channel. It sounds very cool, and I've considered doing it before. Just haven't had a chance.
My understanding, from the food channel, is that you won't find any menus. The chef consults with you before the meal, and custom prepares the meal for you. Based on what you've told him you would like, and what he feels is the best food they have that day.

I can give a little enlightenment on this type of situation, as I've worked in 5 star kitchens before. If this is anything like a Chef's Table, which from the name of it, it sounds like, then there isn;t a menu. In reality, the chef will prepare foods for you, sometimes right at the table-side. The chef may consult with those who will be eating, to see if there are any food allergies or preferences. Usually, based on said allergies or preferences, the Chef will prepare his signature dishes, usually a 5 - 7 course meal. the experience is great, but can cost quite a bit. Depending on your passion for food, it can be the experience of a lifetime...

Thank you everyone. I called WDW-DINE and this is what I found out after talking with 4 different cast members:
Citricos - Chef's Domain
$650 minimum (you can have anywhere from 2 - 12 guests and they order from the Citricos menu - if you don't hit $650 you will still be charged $650 min. - basically you pay for what you eat with a $650 minimum - please let the chef know of any allergies and special diets in advance)
You sit to the side of the kitchen where you can view and interact with the chef
Reservations open up at 180 days prior to your chosen dining date.
No one will be seated with you (only 1 party reservation - unless you specify that it is ok to share this opportunity)
You must provide your credit card in order to reserve
You must cancel with more than 48 hours not to avoid the $100.00 cancellation charge
This sounds like an ideal situation for food enthusiasts - I would say that party of 6 or 7 being ideal with wine pairing (about 100+ per head) or if not into wine ideal for 10 people at about $65 per head (app. + entree and a drink no dessert). Tax and tip not included in that price but I am guessing a gratuity of 18% would be aded for parties of 6 or more...
This might be a wonderful special occasion thing to do - for a wedding rehersal dinner (or special night out for a small group of people).
Just thought i would pass this info along - to book them you do not go through the normal number dial: 1.407.824.2989.
book 180 days prior to arrival

$650 Chefs domain probably not the best choice for just two people then.

I agree, I'm not about to pay $325/person to have an appetizer, an entree, and a drink next to the kitchen, no matter how good the food is...

I hate to say it - but victoria and alberts is by far the better deal for two. I have eaten at Victoria and Alberts and it was wonderful - we were in the second seating and even though we did not sit at the chef's table we were waited on hand and foot - there are only about 10 tables in the restaurant and it was extremely romantic. There were several courses and the food seemed so tiny and pretty but by the time we finished we could barely get up. We asked to speak with the chef and were invited into the kitchen anyway. I highly recommend it as a special occasion dinner. (and you won't sepnd $325 per person either!)

Funny, I was thinking it's not a bad price for something special like that. I've paid almost as much for some other dining which weren't as exclusive. Like Charlie Palmer Steak @Mandalay Bay (It was $400 for 2 people.)
I wonder if you can discount it with DDE. $650 *.8 = 520! Pays for the DDE!

I will call and ask - it really seems like you a booking the space more than you are booking the meal..so it is possible that the discount won't apply - I wil let you know what i find out. I will look for AP, DDE and DVC discounts so that should take care of everything.

Please come to my home cooking resteraunt where you will be priority seated at my dinning table. The chef will then cook you whatever the heck you want for $400.
I do great Key Lime Pie.
