I had read this on another forum "DH & I took this tour in the spring of 04 and really enjoyed it. It was a small group, only 4 people, so it felt like a personal tour. The CM from Morocco gave us a mini history lesson of her
country, as well as details of items in the museum and of the
actual building of the pavillion from start to finish. We were free
to ask questions, and didn't feel rushed through the tour at all. I
would recommend it, and it's free! This was posted several years ago but was hoping it was still offered as we're going in 2 weeks.

The tour is called " Treasures of Morocco", and yes it does still exist.

I asked on my The Mouse for Less yahoo group and got the following response. Hope this helps.
The Mouse For Less Yahoo Group wrote:It is probably one
of the biggest inadvertant secrets at Epcot. I think they are shy! It
is not a paid or pre-registration toru- it is their "attraction". If
you enter tha main alleyway (?) there is a little room to teh right and
a table there to sign up for the next tour (every hour or so, or maybe
if you are there they say lets go- I got an exlcusive.) It is simply
one of the Moroccan CM's walking you through the venue and explaining
what it is you are seeing- and it is a LOT more impressive that way.
The whole place is sort of secret... mainly cause no one knows...

Thanks Rich. But I highly do suggest that everyone that wants to join the Mouse for Less email group. Great group of people -- although no wonderful music like here!
eeyore, please do let us know what you find. I'm thinking about doing it with my Mom when we go in December

Well we visited Morocco and searched for the tour. We asked a cast member in one of the shops and looking at us with a very perplexed look offered to answer any questions we might have but didn't know about any tour. We poked around some more and asked another cast member at the restaurant podium. Again we received the "huh??" look and were directed to plaques that were hung describing each area. I guess this tour is gone? If anyone finds out any other info LMK as we're already thinking about our next trip

That's really too bad. My family never knew about the tour and thought we might like to try it in January. Well, maybe we'll ask anyhow, just in case a different cast member has actually heard of it!
