Favorite WDW Park and Why

Post by Hypermommy » Aug Sun 19, 2007 7:53 am

Hi all,

Just for fun I thought we'd see which is the favorite WDW park among Subsonicites. Please vote but also let us know why it's your favorite.

No arguing .. no saying someone's wrong. This is personal opinion and everyone has their own opinion, whether we agree with them or not :-)

I put in AK, but I don't know why it didn't show up. Guess I have to learn how to make a poll. Sorry AK fans! Subsonic, maybe you can add it? I can't figure out how to go back and add AK.

Anyway, my fave park is Epcot becuase I love to relax and spend the day strolling World Showcase eating and drinking. I also love Spaceship Earth. I've done Mission Space and Test Track and all and while they're fun, that's just not so much my thing anymore. To me, a perfect afternoon is sitting inside Les Chefs enjoying a bowl of soup, a roll, some wine and peoplewatching. Maybe I'm just getting old :-)

Tough choice, love 'em all. I'd have to split hairs with Magic Kingdom and Epcot, giving Epcot the edge. 8)

Definately Epcot. I find as I get older I enjoy the relaxation and atmosphere just as much as I do the "thrill" rides in the other parks.

Hypermommy - I added it AK for you :)

My vote went for the Magic Kingdom. If I were to be able to afford to go back to WDW these days, I think its the only one I'd really be interested in seeing, given the "upgrades" that have been made over the years to EPCOT.

Thanks casrin. I couldn't figure out how to do it. Is it something the author of a thread should be able to do?

It's hard to choose one, but EPCOT gets my vote, even though it's glory has faded over the years (closing Horizons and WoL; messing up JI, now they're tinkering with SE). MK and AK are close behind though.

Off the top of my head, I honestly don't know. What I did was edit your post and down at the bottom in the poll area, it let me do an "add option" to type in Animal Kingdom and add it to the poll. You could experiment (if you want) and try to edit your top-most post to see if it will let you do that too.

Nah, it won't let me. Maybe it's something only you C-ticket trusted and above guys can do. I'll get there eventually :-)

Tough choice for me but I went with MK. I guess because that is where it all started for me. EPCOT a very close 2nd. :mickey3:

I had to pick the Magic Kingdom as my sentimental favorite (and home of my favorite attractions). Epcot is a very close second, but for me there's still nothing to beat sitting in the MK after dark, on a nice bench in Tomorrowland, nibbling a Mickey Premium Bar. *happy sigh*

MK for me, hands down!

This park holds the magic for me. Sure, the other 3 are great, but this one is pure Disney. :mickey:

Hmm, that's tough. I'll always have a soft spot for the Studios because I worked there. I just love how it's supposed to imitate the old style Hollywood. Well at least up up until now.

Magic Kingdom is great and all, but Disneyland's version is just too special for me.

DAK has just great theming, and the details are just amazing. It's hard to pick just one.
