Pal Mickey

Post by tseymour » Jul Tue 24, 2007 4:16 pm

Pal Mickey is great, but why is it that you can only get a Pal Mickey. My favorite character is Donald, and I for one would love to have a Pal Donald. If you could choose a character instead of pal mickey who would you choose.

I'm just curious to see if I'm the only one who would want someone other than Pal Mickey.

Mickey is my favorite of the "Fab Five," but my father-in-law is a huge Goofy fan, so for him, I'd like there to be a Pal Goofy.

You carry him (Pal Mickey is a plush doll) around and he'll make comments based on where you are in the parks.

I can see it now...

Pal Minnie
Pal Donald
Pal Goofy
Pals Chip and Dale
Pal Grumpy
Pal Stitch
Pal Figment
Pal Jack Sparrow
Pal Hitchhiking Ghost
Pal Redhead
Pal Leota
Pal Dr. Seeker
Pal Push, the talking Trashcan...

Maybe I got a little carried away there..

Anyway, i think expanding Pal Mickey to other characters is a good idea, as long as they only do the Fab 5.

I could see Grumpy being popular. Of course he would have to occasionaly complain about the heat or the lines

I've never heard of pal Mickey. Is this only at Disney World or is it at Disneyland also? Sounds neat.

It seems to me when they originally announced Pal Mickey they said at the time there were going to be two others if he was successful. I can't for the life of me remember who though. I'll have to see if I can figure that out (I have the original Pal Mickey info booklet around somewhere - I think it was in there).

That said, I'll take Pal Jack Sparrow asap.

Pal Stitch would be great, though he wouldn't give any advice and he would eat all your snacks. The Pal Mickey is a good concept but reduce him in size because he is really not fun to carry. And he becomes a pain in the butt on some of the rides when you have to shift him around. I would like to see him reduced in size to fit in your pocket, sorta like an ipod nano. yeah, that would be good.
