There sure has been quite a commotion around DTD recently. It was probably one of those thugs that they threw off the property for life.

That's what I'm thinking. It's a very CRAZY world we're living in. I think Disney is going to be getting a lot more secure!!

It's going to get old really fast if the security guards at the parks hold up the lines to get in the parks even more just to SUPER check everybody's bags from now on.

For that very reason...so that people will hate them. Whatever attention they can get. Absolute losers.

Yeah if i had to put money on it I would definitly think it was one of those kids that got booted from DTD. This is their only way, the juvenile way, to get even. Ah well... this is a small group of trouble makers. You'll find them everywhere unfortunitly.

Similar events have been going on in my area. Even the University I go to. We have had multipal bomb threats in the past few weeks. People are sick!

Yes, the world can be a sad place sometimes. However, there are far more good people than evil. All I can do it to refuse to let these bad people take away my love of people and the chance to enjoy my family and other good people at Disney.

What bothers me is what will be the end result? For every action there is a reaction. What will the reaction be and how will it effect my trips to Downtown Disney.

DTD is kind of like the mall in most towns, a hang out for teens and thugs with nothing better to do. The problem is that DTD is part of a major tourist attraction so us tourists are bumping into these idiots. Disney had better crack down on the local troublemakers or business will suffer in the end. Overall it's still a very safe place and I would like to see it stay that way. I don't think anyone under 16 should be allowed in without an adult. I mean a real adult, not their 18-year old friend who is hanging out with them to seem like the cool older guy in the group...you know who you are! Grow up people.

I would say that the whole concept of "mall as tourist attraction" is fundamentally flawed, particularly when it comes to Disney, but there are millions of tourist dollars that say I'm wrong.

I friggin' hate DTD and would nuke it from orbit if given the opportunity. It's the only way to be sure.

A pipe bomb is not going to do the job.

I suppose it's not the worst thing in the world, given that it's away from the actual parks and can be easily ignored, but the entire premise of the thing gives me a bad case of the Eisner hives.
