Note the name of the pub just under halfway through this clip (You'll need RealPlayer for this): York's Bus Hopping Dog a Star in Japan

There's also a pub of the same name not too far from here (although it looks a bit shut down the last time I went past it...)

Andy :)

PS, yes. Dogs in York really do talk like that. Honestly.

I have just watched the Vid Andrew. It is a little clearer now.
The dog gets on a bus (without paying I notice) he gets off at the Rose and Crown Pub. For some reason this seems to have made him famous in Japan. And inexplicably the dog has a false accent put on by someone with a proper BBC accent. Weird off the wall stuff from the crazy Brits.

I know of lots of "Rose and Crown" Pubs none of them has a talking canine fare dodger though.

If Goofy travelled to the Rose and Crown on a bus from Japan and was accompanied by those brilliant Japanese Drummers carrying TV cameras we could be on for a closer comparison. :D

Thought: Goofy downing a British yard of Japanese Nihonshu.
