I'm glad someone stepped in an did something. Rude people at the parks ruin it for everyone.

I was reading that... Thats pretty stupid to attack a deputy. They must have been drinking or something.

That just made my day. Can we do this with the rest of the misbehavior's? Sometimes I wish that Disney did have its own Police force instead of using the orange county officers all the time. They could respond faster and get things done quickly. I work for the University of Pennsylvania and we have our own police force witch patrol the area and are the ones that respond to all of the 911 calls on campus. Unfortunately the Disney Security can only call these disturbances into the OCPD and have them take care of it. The security people only observe and assist when an officer is present.

One wonders how many guests were around when they actually did this.. Probably not the best of things for children to witness in the parks ;)

Andy. 4 days!! !! !!

Now that's an interesting proposition. CMs with night sticks and tasers. Would they have to dress up so they fit in the "land" they are patrolling?

Because of a certain group of individuals, WDW does have it's own police force. They are not used to counteract disturbances as such. Fortunately, they have not been called to action yet.

I'm from Massachusetts, so I'm not sure if it is different in Florida, but here in Mass, places can hire "armed security with police powers for a particular area" I use to work for a security company that did security in housing projects in Boston, They were only security per-se, but possessed police powers on the housing property. Disney must have security kinda like that, in case of those types of incidents.
