I don't believe they've announced it yet. My feeling is that the'll keep the "Where Dreams Come True" slogan going, but as for the promotion/celebration... not sure

YoaMD gets extended into 2008. They'll turn it into a 20-24 month celebration. Cheap to continue as give-aways do not equal cost of new marketing campaign.
I'm guessing maybe a new celebration by summer 2008 at best.

Well, this October will mark the 25th anniversary of EPCOT. I'm sure they will have something for that, but a WDW wide celebration would be lame IMO.

netslave, I doubt they are doing anything WDW wide for Epcot. There was an interview with the VP (as I recall) of Epcot posted on all-ears. Basically he said they where going to do things for the 25th, but it would be incorporated in to events they are already holding at the park.
I don't think he would have given up the details of the plans to Deb for her to post on the website. But I do think he would has said something cryptic like, "You'll have to wait for XXX to see what we have planned." Instead he said something less cryptic, which leads me to believe nothing huge is planned.

Anything planned for 2009?

That's the next time I'm going to WDW.

Disney never thinks that far in advance anymore. They are living in the now more than live for the future. I wish they would plan that far in advance maybe they could come up with more good ideas.

I dunno, I think the Year of a Million Dreams is a great promotion.
Also liked WDW 25th, DL 50th, and the 2000 celebration.

oh, I'm pretty sure they plan far out in advance. The logistics of whatever the promotion is have to be planned out far enough in advance to do things like signage, promotional items (pins, hats, etc), TV/radio/internet commercials, etc. They just don;t announce these things very far in advance

I don't know... YoaMd seemed kind of tossed together in a few months using the regular Walt Disney Script font and even borrowing music from a movie that Disney didn't even have anything to do with (I will still never forgive Disney for stealing the Peter Pan soundtrack, now I can't watch that movie without thinking about YoaMD). Plus the Castle Suite didn't even open until a third of the way into the celebration.

Some of the delay in the suite may have had to do with "keeping it a secret".
The current pal mickey doesn't really have anything to do with YoaMDs. Not the way the previous one did, with his Tux, and Pin on his hand.
I was sorta expecting a Pal Mickey in a powder blue tux, and a new pin for YoaMDs.

I'm inclined to agree, given the fact that several promotional items (such as the resort refillable mugs) are just now starting to arrive in the gift shops and food courts. If this slogan had a hard stop date, I think the related merchandise would have launched much earlier.

I also really like the YoaMD promotion. I was there twice during this promotion and have seen people receive "dreams". Everybody loves something for free even if it is just a free cookie!!! I never received a "dream" from an official member of the dream squad but a family that was leaving the park for the day had received the dream fast passes and gave the fast passes to my husband and I the ones they had not used. This was awesome! It was almost like we had received the dream first hand.

I agree, I think this is one of their better promotions. Is it affecting attendance? Hard to say, but I think giving back to the guests is the best promotion they've done. I was most disappointed by the 2000 celebration, it wasn't all I'd hoped it'd be.
