The geodesic dome called Wonders of life has seemed to have lost its life.
In my opinion this pavillion with the exception of Body wars is wasted Disney sq. footage. Is it time for a change?

For me they should've kept Horizons and World of Motion and moved the new rides next door to Wonders of Life - there isn't a lot there and it is on the seasonal schedule now. Test Track is impressive but Mission: Space just doesn't cut it for me - and not to mention I'm the only one in my family that can even ride that one.
There was something about the old rides at Epcot that was neat - but they just had to go mess with Figment, Horizons, and WoM instead of just bringing them up to date. Bring back the classics in Epcot!

Ah good old Wonders of Life, I like the pavillion myself. Cranium Command is one of my fav shows at Epcot and Body Wars, while outdated is a fun ride. I am not a fan of Making of Me show though. Personally I think the theme of the pavillion is great and hopefully new plans will go into place for Epcot's 25th Anniversary that will reshape the pavillion. As for when Body Wars is open, its guaranteed to be open Dec 18-31 and it has been rumored to be open Jan-April while the land pavillion goes down for rehab so check it out while you can

I personally think the best thing to do is keep the theme and update with new rides and such, its a pretty big area to just get rid of and the amount of rides on that side of Future World is rather limited. I say bring in a new E ticket ride as well as a couple of other shows related to health and such.

Horizons and WoM should have stayed, the Test Track ride would have made a great addition to WoM, they could have knocked out that restaurant in the coner that has never been open for it.
A replacement for the WoL, hmmm...
how about a Subsonicradio pavilion?

hehe
I'm not sure what could go in WoL... most concepts are alrady there. Maybe something about the future of sports or something. The only thing Disney has for sports right now is the Wide World of Sports complex, and it'd be interesting to see something incorporated into one of the parks..

I don't think it needs a replacement but an update. I haven't been there in years, but I'm sure it's out of date. EPCOT is supposed to be about learning. The human body is pretty amazing. I know I find myself facinated with those kind of exhibits in museums.
Update it:
Make a cool interactive walk though of the body. Or perhaps parts of the body. How about walking into the mouth and be able to punch that little dangling thing. Then into the stomach that sprays acid (water) and have the floor be all soft and squishy. Something along those lines.
Update Body Wars with a sweet new computer animated inside of a body.
Yeah...

I have to admit, I've only visited WOL twice since it's opened. I never had much interest in its "contents". The first time I really don't remember since I was pretty young. The second was a couple of years ago, and in my opinion, it was pretty boring and somewhat out-dated. I think it's in need of some updating or a completely new theme, really. I wish I could think of something better to replace it, but would have to give it some more thought! Neat looking building, though...

Definetely needs to be updated...
There really is so much potential in the whole "health/body" concept that there is no reason not to have it.
Maybe if they made it the "Incredibles Wonder of Life"

The last two times I've been to WDW WOL was closed. I am sure when i go in jan. it will be closed too. I hate when pavillion/exhibits are closed, its always a disapointment. WOL is not my fav pavillion but I still like to walk thru it.
I agree there should be an overhaul on the some of the exhibits. Body Wars and Star Tours for that matter need to be updated. I think the majority of the sense exhibits are cool and could stay.
Hey maybe they could do a Soarin' thru your lower intestine ride.. hahaha

Interesting little bit I found out, apparently before Body Wars became the "E ticket ride" the original E-ticket was going to be an omnimover type ride through the human body including a gigantic heart pumping and such. Unfortunately budget cuts ruled yet again so we got body wars, a cool but not super awesome cool ride. As for WOL being open in January it isnt a lock yet but their is very strong reason to believe that it will be open January through March while the Land pavillion goes down for a huge rehab to incorporate Soarin.

Yeah! That would be nice... I'll have to stop in and see WOL when I am down there. It has been awhile since it was open, I want to say it has been closed for over a year now, is that right?
