I really enjoy the Ellen's Energy Adventure... I can live without Bill but I hav fond memories of that ride. When I was six, I thought I was so cool to see Ellen in the movie, then see her fighting a dinosaur in real life. :D
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

I have to give a thumbs up to Ellen's Energy Adventure, perhaps 3 1/2 out of 5. Got some chuckles out of it when it was new, but the problem with making a comedy-oriented ride is keeping it fresh, and visual cues work better in this regard than verbal. Now that Ellen and Bill has passed their ten year mark at the pavilion, any repeat patron is ahead of the jokes (which is why, Bill, as the straight man to Ellen's jokes, gets a better reaction from the audiences as of late, at least from what I've seen). Also, new forms of energy have gained greater recognition in the past decade. No mention of biodiesel, hydrogen, et al, and the role that those will play in the decades (centuries?) to come. This is by no fault of the ride; this is just an ever-changing, unpredictable field of study.
Not sure why, but a large part of the appeal of the original Universe was its rational, serious demeanor. It gave this journey a certain gravitas that made it unique in Epcot (and perhaps the entire resort), compared to the comedic take of, say, World of Motion and Horizons. It made the topic almost imposing, and yet carried the same message that the more humorous version upholds today, that there is no problem so big that it cannot be solved by ingenuity, no obstacle that cannot be moved by imagination.

Ellen's comedy stylings (such as they are), don't really lend themselves to repeat viewings in any case. Let's just say her performance is a little different from something like Robin Williams at Cranium Command.

I don't recall Robin Williams in CC? Do you perhaps mean Timekeeper?

No, I mean the drill sergeant in CC, where he was actually funny. I thought he was unbearable in Timekeeper. Sort of in Boring Autopilot Mode, like when you see him on talk shows these days. He's still got the manic energy, but he's just not funny any more. Turned out to be a great dramatic actor, though...

On IMDB thought it can be wrong has Corey Burton as General Knowledge.

The Robin Williams page on IMDB says he was General Knowledge. Conflicting.

It doesn't sound like Robin Williams... although I guess there are similarities, but I don't think even Robin could change his voice that much to that gruff, harsh sounding voice.

Huh, I always just assumed it was Robin Williams (sounds exactly like him to me), but the IMDB says otherwise on the Cranium Command page. It credits Williams with the character here, but that link is more likely to be wrong.

Hmm, Test track would be my # one. I don't know about the others. I like them all.
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

Love RCT3

I never watched Bill Nye cause I never had the chance. I would've liked the original cast from Beakman's World better.
