Hey everyone,
Sorry I've been absent for a while. Been busy, busy, busy. Thankfully within my busy schedule I was able to squeeze in four days at WDW. It was a blast as always.
Here's a link to some of the pix I took during this visit.

Thanks! If you're interested in any individual shots PM me and I'd be more than happy to send them to you. I'm a little paranoid about my photos and would rather know exactly where they go. I'm crazy like that I guess.
Knowing that they go to true Disney fans instead of some lame image harvester to make a buck is enough for me.

there were a bunch of them. I'd need to go through them all again to see which ones they were, but I know there were about 15 that I really liked. I'll go through them in a bit...

I stayed at the Pop Century. It was the second time I've stayed there. I fund there bus system to be the best.

Hmmm... you might be on to something there. Or perhaps desktop calendars or something like that.

For this trip I brought my Canon Digital Rebel XT. It's a wonderful camera which is very easy to use with a little practice and study.

HOLY COW! You have SUCH a good eye! Some of those (especially the MK and Epcot Fireworks) even gave me the chills! I like the photoshop effects on some too!
GREAT JOB!

I didn't notice any Photoshopping...
Hey DaWhoLaGn... I'm going to DLR in December and now I have a new challenge... to bring my photos up to par with yours!
Nothing like competition to bring out the best in amateur photogs
Edit:
Nevermind on the Photoshopping, I hadn't noticed this one

Ah....... there was one with the monorail in B&W w/ a spot of color, As well as one with the fireworks.
Speaking of fireworks... Did you use a tri-pod with any of those pics of the VERY CLEAR castle with the blurred fireworks? Very cool effects

HAD to be a tripod (or unipod maybe?)... unless he's the Six Million Dollar Man or something!

LOL, your kudos are flattering me almost as much as your comments are giving me a good laugh. Thanks!
The "post" work done on a select few of the shots was done in Google's Picassa editor. My goal was to do as much as I could without touching Photoshop. I used Picassa exclusively to "pan" the shots into 4x6 frames and to some slight sharpening here and there. When thought appropriate an effect was applied such as the Polynesian Monorail pic. Thank you so much for paying so much attention to notice these BTW!
Yes, a tripod and a remote shutter switch was used for all night shots, especially fireworks. Thankfully, Disney offers a good value for their locker rentals so I didn't have to carry that darn thing all day. BTW, I'm only the 2.5 Million Dollar Man. Maybe next time...
Spaulo... do yourself a great favor... take your camera into the park after dark and bring a tripod. Not only do you get some great shots; but you alos meet some of the nicest people who are curious about your shots! I chatted it up with castmembers, other photographers and those who were just plain curious about what was so darn interesting about a fountain. My highlight for this trip... the pic of the ducks swimming in the reflection of Cinderella's Castle. My pic didn't turn out nearly as nice as I hoped it would; but there was a couple shooting over my shoulder and one of them claimed that his "Disney Moment" had been fullfilled. Good enough for me. I can't count how many times in the past I've seen this exact same scene completely overlooked by those who just see "The castle with lights."
You can influence a new view for those around you! 8)
BTW, I'd LOVE to see your results from DLR. I've never been any closer than the front gates. My brother had his wedding reception in the hotel just outside of the park. I watched the fireworks from the balcony. I was too young to have enough cash to get in the gates at the time.

Hoping to make it out there within the next few years. Enlighten me!

This effect was once again done in Picassa. Two reasons for this...
A: A food stand is typically just a food stand.
B: You'll have to PM me for the second reason...
Again; thanks for taking the time to view and notice. It's makes up for the 5 zillion times I stopped to take the darn camera out of the camera bag... again!
