WoL is back for the holidays according to the news section at wdwmagic.com - any chance we can get an in the field report from anyone down there [and even better, photos!]. Would be nice to hear a status report of everything inside...

GOOD!

My girlfriend grew up with cast members for parents, but she never really went to Epcot, so she doesn't remember WoL at all. I raved about it when we went over for the college program, but it was closed.

BUT we're going back around Christmas, so. . . w00t!

JS3901 and I will be down there during the first week of Dec. I will take pics and write up a little something.

They might have to set aside a week prior to reopening just for dusting.

Last Christmas they re-opened it, too. Basically desserted, and in pitiful condition. We thought we'd seen its last days.

I'll see if I can convince my wife to let us take a trip to EPCOT and see what WOL is offering. If it's the same or has it changed?

are they going to eventually spruce this attraction up or let it crumble like they did for horizons.

I'm in mixed reviews about reopening up the Wonders of Life. It just seems like they haven't done much inside so it might look deserted like when they opened it the last time. But on the other hand, at least it gives people more space for people to explore instead of being outside or inside waiting in a line.

I'm just disappointed that I'll miss it by a day as I'm traveling down to Disney World on January 2nd. I hope to see many pictures of its re-opening and let's all mourn over it's last days as I believe it will be torn down or re-done after this but that's just my thoughts

I'm going to have to see this on the official site before I believe it. according to disneyworld.com operational updates:
Body Wars: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed (December 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006)
Cranium Command: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed (December 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006)
The Making of Me: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed (December 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006)
I'll be sure to ask when we go down from 12/1 - 12/7 (we have the Segway Tour scehduled for 12/2 so I'll ask then).

I was just there and it was closed and not on any of the maps. They have the graphic on the map...but no description. Do they think that WOL wil reall help that much during the holiday crush....???

Well, if it is opening, I certainly wouldn't mind one last trip through WoL. It'll be the first time I'll see a closing coming. Never went on Horizons, or World of Motion, or the original Universe of Energy (still my fav) thinking, "Wow. This'll be it."

"Blankety blank."

WOL didn't help last Christmas - they had a CM at the front of the entryway practically begging people to come in. Body Wars was a walk on and there were very few people milling around. It was sad acutally thinking about how lively the place once was. The greatest thing was hearing the area music.
