The Resort TV is GONE!!!

I'm not sure if things have changed during the past two years but when I went in 2004 they changed the Resort TV and changed it with something none impressive. Once I heard the Resort TV Complete Show here I felt so excited. The show reminded me of the old Disney Channel when it had all the corny stop motion commercials. Has it come back or am I the only one who loves the show?

she's kinda cute though. Whenever we stay out in Orlando I try to watch at least a few minutes of this. Almost like it helps get me excited about Disney, not that I need any help.

She was doing this last year too. I remember watching it and thinking the same thing you did Blackie Pueblo.

rdeacon - gracias for the link! I knew it had to be out there somewhere. That was actually entertaining and useful, the current version just gets on your nerves. I could leave the old one on all day with Zip. Somehow it was done just right, not forced, not annoying, not fake, in otherwords, not the current version!

NP... glad to help...lol

Yeah the new one is not as good as the old resort tv.... sigh.....

Disney seems to mix it up every couple of year so we should have new resort tv soon enough..

Yea I love listening to resort tv-full on here because it was just so exciting, and so Disney. From the voice overs for the different parks, to Zip, to the big Fastpass dude, it felt just right. The current one (as of July 2006, probably not current now) was rather awful. Stacy or whatever her name is is very annoying. It's like they're trying to be hip or something for the pre-teen crowd and it's very transparent that I doubt anyone thinks "Wow she's so cool!" The same goes for the DVD they sent in the mail for vacation planning for the Happiest Celebration on Earth. Whenever you get people to do these spots and they have to convey emotion they should seem genuine...it's called acting...but Stacy and the DVD crew seemed so forced it was comical. I loved the "Thrill dude" on the DVD that was totally into "totally wicked thrill rides" ...like BTMR...because let's face it Big Thunder is such a thrilling ride...especially for the teens. (Yes sarcasm...and BTMR is a thrill but it's hardly the "WHOA I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HURL ON THAT ONE, BRO!" type ride these people make it out to be) Oh well...
