1st thing you do when you get to WDW

I know that when I go to WDW I always go to MK first. Before any rides I chow down on a much anticipated Disney Burger. Then it all hits me. Disney is such an addiction.

Check into the Boardwalk :) and then usually head to cape may or epcot for dinner as we usually get in late the first day. Then go swimming!

check in and head to Epcot. First ride is usually Spaceship Earth. The key about Epcot is after a long flight, there are plenty of places to sit down and chill out, and good food to eat. The second day of the vacation is when we start touring commando-style.

The first thing is usually to take a little while to soak up the particular resort we're staying in. Usually it's one we've stayed at before, but it gets the Disney magic going. Not too long, because it's usually off to MK to get things started like the days when that was the only park that existed. I'm with Spaulo though, riding SSE to start the Disney vacation is hard to beat. You can sit back and relax while enjoying one of the all time best WDW attractions. It lets you unwind after a long trip.

We usually walk around the resort to become familiar with it if it's a new resort for us. If we are staying at FQ or POR we usually take the boat to DD for dinner on the first evening. If it's not to late my nephew loves to swim when we arrive.

I love that fact that people start their vacation with Spaceship Earth. On the last three trips it's been the last thing I've done.

99 days to go!

Hmm. If we're staying on property, then sleep. Flying makes me tired, so a nap would be good. Then probably a meal, and then when I can't take all the suspense- head on over to a park. Doesn't matter which one. It's just the awesome feeling of being there.

The first park I always hit is Epcot. And the very first thing I have to do is get a picture of the park entrance from where ever we park. I always start the trip with a picture of Spaceship earth behind the entrance. It's been a tradition, and I'll probably do it every time I go in the future, or at least until I'm too senile to remember if I took a picture or not.

I always hit up the Magic Kingdom on the first day. Since it's only a 1/2 day, we defnitely have to visit later but I like to see the attractions that I really like the most.

My last trip, I went on Carousel of Progress first, I'm such a nerd.

I try not to plan anything, just go with the flow.

I also have to see Spectromagic on the first night. I just get chills when the music starts to play.

Jacca5660 - That's so funny. Each trip I take with my nephew we take a picture of him in front of the ball too. I love the fact that I have a picture of him every two years in the exact same spot. Plus, each trip we purchase a group photo. The only one missing now is the Hat at MGM. Need to get that one if November!

Here's a hint: When you have pictures taken in the parks Disney puts them on line. When you get home and you look at your pictures, Push the print screen button on your keyboard. Then if you go to clipboard or paint on windows and right click on your mouse and push paste, you have just capture the whole screen with the Disney picture. Now you can use your photoshop software and crop the picture and either print you picture at home or save it to your memory card and take it to your favorite photo counter and have it printed!!
"Of course this is just for informational purposes!"
