My GF and I were thinking of staying at SOG. Has anybody stayed there and what was it like? Was it worth going to? Is there any entertainment besides the golf? and do the buses go there? thanks

as far as I know, it's now only a military ceneter and regular civilians are not allowed to make reservations without a servicemember with them. Here's the link to the facility's website that you can get alot of information from...

I stayed there a few years back with my parents (my dad is a retired USAF Colonel). You'll either need a sponsor to stay with you or be in the military or a government employee to stay there. It's a nice enough resort but it's not a Disney resort and lacks Disney magic. There is dedicated bus service to the parks.
