Disney's Animal Kingdom after dark!

Post by AKLRULZ » Jul Fri 21, 2006 5:47 pm

WOW! We spent Monday night at DAK during Extra Magic Evening Hours and this place is truly amazing after dark! It was our first visit after the sun went down to AK since it usually closes so early - and a whole new feel to the park comes alive and the lighting is beautiful! And make sure you ride Expedition Everest in the pitch black - it's amazing! :D

Anyone else been after dark?

Wow... small world
I was there Monday for the extra magic hours also
Everest is definitley a nighttime ride and they light it up so awesome, the lights cast shadows on the mountain that form a yeti face and a hidden mickey - I'll post a picture of it when i get a chance to load my pics on

here it is up close...

I would like to experience AK after dark. The parks are always more magical at night.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

I had hoped to do it this coming trip but my 6 says just miss. I like all of the parks better at night, Espically when they are open late and not an EMH.

When is Animal Kingdom's EMH during the week anyway? I'm there 2nd to the 9th so I would like to make sure I check it out.

I circled them as best i could...maybe it's just my wishful thinking? Does anyone else see them?

After knowing where they are, they look better on the zoomed out photo though
