Mama Melrose or Alfredo's? Which would you choose and why?

Alfredo's, they knew how to spell my name, not the Ellis island version. The only time in my life outside of Coney Island or Italy that somebody knew!! Can you say REAL Italian food!!!!!!
Mama's has great food, realy good, we've have had diner there a bunch of times. ALFREDO'S just reminds me of Italy and New York!!!!

I would think Alfredo's would be the best. Portobello Yacht Club is supposedly not that bad. Almost ate there, but ended up at Fulton's instead.

I had some Fettucini Alfredo at alfredo's in epcot, and I didn;t think it was anything special. I believe I could've actually made better at home. I was idsappointed by the service there too. the waitress didn;t know that name of the bread, and had to go back and ask. I've worked in restaurants for most of my life (except the past 3 years) and I know that the waitstaff doesn't about some of the food. but they usually don;t know what's IN the food, not the NAME of the food. and this woman was FROM that country...

It's kind of unfair to pit those two together considering Alfredo's is like a payscale above Mama Melrose. I think they're both good, but I'm more likely to go to Mama Melrose as Epcot has better food elsewhere, MGM doesn't really, the price. They are relatively cmprable in food quality I think. I will say Tony's Town Square was pretty bad. The only good part of the meal was the red pesto sauce for the bread. They even messed up water....WATER! I know Orlando doesn't have great tap water but Tony's tasted like they added chlorine to it AFTER it came out of the tap! It was like pool water. The appetizer was small, costly, and I don't know what goat they got that goat cheese from but it tasted an awful lot like cream cheese. The entree was decent, but for 23 dollars I'd expect better than "decent"....

Anyway sorry, I'll probably post a lengthy trip report but I had to vent when I saw Italian restaurants of WDW.

Thats why I ALWAYS ask for a slice of Lemon with my water..... It gets rid of/hides the Chlorine taste! ;)

I had the lemon in it and it was still bad. I stopped drinking it because it was gross! :(
