I'm just curious how it was handled by the resort if you had a problem with your room or something else during your stay.

When my fiancee (girlfriend when we left) and I went back in December, it was for my birthday (and so I could propose, but she didn't know that). So she had called ahead, and on my actual birthday, when we came home in the middle of the day for our relax time, there was a bottle of Shiraz and two glasses in a nice little basket waiting for us!

One problem... the wine was bad. Not like "oh, this Shiraz isn't as good as the 1998 blahblahblah"... I mean, it was vinegar. So, she called the Resort Florist (who also, it appears, handles wine deliveries)... she told us to take the bottle, with a note explaining to leave it for the Florist, to the front desk of our resort (POFQ). We did that, went back out to the parks, and when we got back, there was a new basket waiting for us that evening!

They were out of Shiraz so we requested, and received, Merlot instead. It was quite good. The basket, however, ALSO included some spreadable cheese and crackers, an assortment of chocolates and nuts... WAY more than my fiancee had originally ordered, apparently the Florist's way of sayin "Whoops! Sorry!"

But then, it's Disney... we've come to expect treatment like that.

My family had always stayed at fort wilderness for our WDW trips, so as I have great memories of the place, I wanted to stay there for my honeymoon... rent an electric cart, jog on the trails in the AM... bike.... ride the boats, etc. BUT... since it was hurricane season... (Right after Francis) They CLOSED fort wilderness completely! So they put us in a suite at wilderness lodge! AWESOME!

The last two posts don't seem to be bad experiences  Congrats by the way Spaulo. Well the All Star Sports rooms weren't great....but they are value. Other than that I haven't stayed in a Disney resort since I was a real youngster, we have a timeshare in Kissimmee and although I miss Disney resorts it's a lot cheaper + bigger than most people's residencies.
