Christmas 2006 events

Post by AKLRULZ » Jun Wed 07, 2006 10:07 am

The Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights will begin Nov 13, 2006, and run through Jan 7, 2007.

The Candlelight Processional and Holidays Around the World at Epcot will run Nov 24 - Dec 30, 2006.

If you've not experienced these events I must highly encourage you to do so this year - Christmas at Disney World is amazing.

We have seriously thought about trip 3 for the year and not going next year so we could go at Christmas time before our Annual Pass runs out. :)

:sigh: this will be the first Xmastime in 3 years that I won't be in WDW... but we ARE planning a trip to Disneyland instead! So I guess I can't complain too awfully loud.

Yeah, I guess not. I'll have to look in to what special things Disneyland does for the holidays... i know there's no "Spectacle of Lights" kind of thing, but I think there is some kind of Candlelight Processional on Main Street...

I absolutely love Disney at Christmas. The resorts decorations are gorgeous, MVMCP is a blast, and just the festive atmosphere makes for a great getaway. We will be doing CP for the first time this year...totally looking forward to it!

Again, we miss the Osbourne Light Show by 2 days! We are planning on arriving the evening of November 6th and departing Saturday November 11th. Maybe if I can get a good AP rate I will stay an extra 3 days by myself. I wish we did not have to work around the school calender. Is the Osboune light show worth staying for? In 2000 we saw the Epcot Holidays Around the World and absolutely loved it!
