Kind of makes me happy that the changes at WDW won't be as dramatic. I was worried it would become to movie oriented. Oh yeah and see you in August!

I love the idea of the Davey Jones thing. Now is that going to be in the main cave scene after the second drop? Or is this going to be in the Dark scene? I always thought that the whole dark section needed something like that.

I posted this in the rumor thread but I'll post here too just because it seems to fit:
I heard that the date of re-opening is now July 1st with July 7th just having the pomp and circumstance - I guess the first would be a 'soft opening'? I don't know if this is true and was just wondering. This is a little important to me because I'll actually be there the 1st through the 8th and as we have it planned we'd be at AK the 7th and then try to parkhop over to MK just to ride Pirates but if it re-opened the 1st that'd make things a LOT easier. Anyone hear anything?

The July 1 could be a CM and passholder opening though.

Hmmmm I sure hope not

I'm afraid that we may be packing too much into our last full day there by going to try to do all of AK, then go to PoC and maybe even going back to either Epcot or MGM after....we'll see! 18 days to go!!

Good luck Mr.ToadWildRider, hope you get in. How long are you there for? If it is long enough (after you findout whether or not it is for AP's) you could always get an AP if you plan to return. Ofcourse they cost a bit down there $415 for the starting one, and $539 for the premium.

Thank you Dr. Ravenscroft, but it's not really worth it that much to us. WE're going back to the MK on the 7th when it officially re-opens and hopefully that'd be the only "Must-see" for us that day....plus I wouldn't really mind waiting in a long PotC queue, it's pretty awesome (and cool/cold!) in there but there's never really a line so you just breeze through all that awesome themeing.

I wouldn't count on the lines being to small. I was down in epcot when Mission space had its Official opening and the line was quite long indeed. The wait time was somewhere around 90 mins. the whole day.
You know what you, and anyone else planing on attending that day, is take one of those callapsable seats that they sell at camping and sports stores.

I wasn't counting on a short like

I said I wouldn't mind the long line because the queue is one of the coolest, both literally and figuratively in MK and maybe in the entire WDW. It's almost all in doors with lots of scenery and setting and atmosphere that a lot of people miss because it USUALLY has a short/non-existant line just due to the sheer efficiency of the ride system.

This is one ride that long lines can be somewhat refreshing, depending on the temp outside. Now, I don't necessarily want 2 hour waits but it beats the long lines for Splash Mountain when it's 90+ degrees outside.
