Favorite MGM Queue?
So, what's the best queue at MGM? Is it for the haunted Tower of Terror (my favorite), or the intergalactic port of Star Tours, the Chinese Theater for the Great Movie Ride, or some other one? Here's the poll to vote and voice your opinions.

I agree, plus just listening to some of the background music while walking through the hall brings back memories of the movies. great stuff..horizons1 wrote:How can you beat the MuppetVision queue? That preshow is worth watching by itself!

I have to say Tower of Terror for two reasons. The decoration is awesome, and the guy at the door is really creepy. It totally fits the whole motif.
The second reason is more personal. I'm personally scared to death of rides that go up and drop. Just don't like heights and the falling sensation. So, a friend literally dragged me kicking and screaming onto the ride. The guy at the door, really creepy lookin guy just looked at me, then my friend dragging me, and said, "What's his problem," in a slow voice. My buddy was like, "he's afraid of heights." To which the doorman replied, "oh...ha...ha ha...ha ha ha...HA HA HA HA HA HA" You know, one of those real creepy moniacle/evil laughs.
I hated the ride, but the experience was cool. Don't get me wrong...I think the idea of the ride is cool. I just don't like heights and drop rides.

What about One Man's Dream? It's kind of a queue for the film. But if not, then ToT. At night when they have the mist on, it's really creepy and it's fun to see guests turn back to the entrance because they can't find their way, or are just chicken.

Ah, that's just cheatin' dude! One Man's Dream totally doesn't count. The queue is definitely an attraction itself, like a museum. However, if it DOES count as a queue, then it is certainly the best queue in any theme park in the whole world.Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:What about One Man's Dream? It's kind of a queue for the film. I had to go with The Tower of Terror. The que is done so well. I mean, it really looks like an old Hotel. Everything from the coats and hats lying around, to the buttons and books and signs with names etc on them. It's one of the best designed ques ever. Heck, forget about the inside, while your still on the outside is amazing as well. You can almost imagine some couple from the 40's walking out in the garden and talking as they are surrounded by all the chrubs and statues. Like something out of one of those old movies.

Tough choices, Muppet Vision is great comedy and has the excellent pre-show. TOT is of course world class... GMR is good but a bit too much "dead" space. Though the trailers are fun to see. Star Tours - now that is a cool queue, the robots and all that. Seems like a lot of people forget about that one. Just because the Muppet Vision and TOT queues are doing so well I might just have to put the vote down for Star Tours to keep it in the game...
