I had to go with Mexico, the theme of the pavillion is outstanding. Plus, can't beat El Rio for a nice time to relax, and the song is kinda catchy too....

yeah, but do either of these countries (or any of the other ones as well) simulate a plaza at night with a villiage and volcano in the background and boats lazily drifting by as you eat?FlatlandMounty wrote:Have you not been to China or Japan. You want to talk about great theming, and rich culture. Not to mention the shows! It is so awesome.

I picked Japan because of the food, the store (yes, my brother likes it too because he buys a lot of Anime) and the exhibits. Last time we were there we found a neat trick with the lounge: we got there about 20 minutes before Reflections of Earth started and we ate while watching the show! Oh, I also like the Japan pavilion because I'm half Japanese.

I can't choose just one -- World Showcase is my favorite part of WDW! Japan has great landscaping, food, music and shopping; France has an awesome movie, great food, the patisserie and my favorite French wines. Germany has the model railroad and the Biergarten with it's fun atmosphere. You get the idea... they all have something appealing.

I chose Mexico, but I notice that you framed the question in a way that assumes that everyone's favorite is the American Adventure. Since nobody has questioned this so far, I must assume that we all agree that World Showcase is "a tribute to all nations, but mostly America".FlatlandMounty wrote:Besides America, What is your favorite country at Epcot?
I dont like the American Adventure much at all.
Mexico takes the cake in every category: Food, Ride, Theming, atmosphere.
It is so AWESOME to eat by the river watching the volcano and people showing and floating by in the boats..
And there is no better ride after stuffing yourself full at the San Angel then a lazy river ride.

actually, I phrased the question "besides America" so this post wouldn't spur on any Anti-America posting. So that people that don't like America, would be protected from those that are a little nuts about it. And those who like America a little too much can get outside the box and think for a change.
