Does anyone have a favorite place to get bakery treats in WDW? I just adore the Kringlas (frosted soft, sweet pretzels) at the Norway in EPCOT. I know there are other fantastic places and would love recommendations for my next trip!

My vote goes for Norway - frosted pretzels! Though right there on Main Street nothing beats a good fresh cookie either...
Starring Rolls in MGM is pretty much it for that park I think [Matt - any hidden ones?]. And I haven't a clue if there is even a bakery in AK - I keep going thru all the places to eat there but can't think of a place for that...
But there are plenty of others no doubt that I'm missing and really need to try. A recommendation is a good enough excuse for me to pig out!

The bakery on Main Street has cinnamon rolls the size of your head... I didn't notice them being quite that large at other bakeries around the World.
Oh, and quite frankly, the cheese danishes at Sassagoula Floatworks (or whatever the POFQ dining area is called) were amazing.

Norway. And I want you to listen very, very closely...
If you're a fan of the frosted pretzels, there's a big loaf of bread called Skool Bread. It's basically a giant frosted pretzel with coconut on top and cream in the center. Trust me on this. You eat that and you'll never go back to the pretzels.

I was just there the other day, but it's not much of a "bakery" as much as just a candy store. They had fudge on sale for 33% off when you buy four... Oh, MAN! Best fudge ever. I don't even like fudge, but they had a pumpkin pie one that tasted just like pumpkin pie. And the eggnog one was equally as good.

There's a bakery in the Swan hotel with a giant window to allow guests to look inside while the chefs work their own brand of magic. I've been there a number of times and if there is someone working inside they ALWAYS bring out fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies... absolutely FREE! Give it a shot next time you're at WDW

What about France?? I love their bakery. The macaroons are like a pyramid and are some of the best I've ever had.

You know, I forgot about France. I'd probably give that the nod, even if I like Skool Bread best. France's bakery is AMAZING.

One of our favorite things to do at WDW is get what they call an "Elephant Ear" from the France bakery and a coffee, and then walk over to the International Gateway bridge just before Illuminations. It is a dense, flaky, cinnamon/sugar creation that just melts all buttery in your mouth!

I have to second the vote for the bakery on the right, right at the top of Main Street, U.S.A in the Magic Kingdom.
For non bakery good stuff I reccomend the chocolate in the Italy pavillion. YUMMY!!!
Of course, I am Italian, I may be biased!!!!
