$22 for a meal sounds much better than the character buffets of $45+ ~ I've never been a fan of that location's food though so I doubt I would try it. Maybe if I see some pictures and read some positive reviews though!

We enjoy going there sometimes. Depends on what we're doing obviously. I like that they are doing something different. I'm with you, I need to see pictures and reviews. The price is right for a buffet though

It's nice that they're adding something that's not going to completely blow the budget and doesn't include characters for those of without young children! The fun thing about this location (If I'm remembering correctly) is that some of the tables overlook the loading zone for Small World.

That's a good point ~ and yes, I think there are about 4 or 5 tables near the windows. I imagine those will be popular and go quicklycy1229 wrote:It's nice that they're adding something that's not going to completely blow the budget and doesn't include characters for those of without young children! I think they do this in Tokyo. Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall is a buffet, if I am not mistaken. I didn't eat there but it looked very popular and the prices were reasonable.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

I'll be interested to see how popular it is and also the food quality. I'm not expecting the best food, but people like to know they are getting their money worth and a cheap buffet helps you feel that way.

Did they ever make this change or was it scrapped like a lot of other good ideas? We were there 2 weeks ago and this location said it was closed for dinner (according to the MDE app).

Don't know, but the only thing we like there is their slushies. Not sure if we can drink $22 worth of slushies....

With our passes expired and my wife and I taking the year or two off due to prices, reading about this change makes me have mixed emotions. I see the consensus doens't really like this places as much as i do. I really enjoyed the flat bread pizzas here but I'm not sure if they really need the sit down dinner change. It was always a nice place I thought for a good quick bite to eat during the day and night. Don't they have enough sit down restaurants? I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm not against it, I'm just wondering what made them come to this decision.

I'm thinking it likely comes down to money. They can probably make more money off a sit down restaurant than counter service.Blackie Pueblo wrote: ↑Jul Sun 07, 2019 6:02 amWith our passes expired and my wife and I taking the year or two off due to prices, reading about this change makes me have mixed emotions. It's all about the money. And now with the push to make sure every attraction is tied to some intellectual property, expect more themed dining experiences that will be awesome but cost a lot.

I never really liked it either Amy... I always thought it was very very loud, and the tables were too close together, very crowded.
