I for one, dislike fast passes. If you don't have a secret card to let you keep getting them, or the courage to push the magic button , then it sucks for everyone else in line. I think it makes regular lines twice as long. So...lets vote!

I love the fast pass tickets! We use passes all the time. Strike up an interesting conversation with the fast pass ticket attendant and most of the time they would be willing to give you extras.

Fast Passes rock. If someone doesn't "get" the system, don't blame me for using it, and using it well. They rock especially because you can come back hours after your "window" is supposedly up.

actually, I believe they got rid of the "windows" to return, and now it's just "come back after the return time rolls around". Unless it's changed again.

I'm one of the wierdos that don't mind standing in line for some attractions, mostly due because the que lines are nice to wait in. Now some of them I do use the fast pass like Splash mountain, Buzz Lightyear etc. because they are always so packed, and the que line doesn't have much to offer.

Lately I've noticed some of the attractions, like Soarin, the fast passes have run out early in the day! It makes me think maybe the fast passess are constantly being used and I wonder if soon the fast pass won't make a difference.

My family and I use the fastpasses all the time when we go. We're only able to go for short amounts of time, so they're a great way to maximize our fun! It's just a good idea to plan ahead, or you could end up crisscrossing the parks trying to fit everything in. It's better to wait in line and enjoy the moment than go running around like an idiot and forget why we go in the first place.

We absolutely love fastpass. On my last trip in May, I only used it once for Soaring because it just opened the day before and it was really busy. The lines in early May are usually only about 10 minutes so no need for the Fastpass. When we go in November we use the Fastpass system a lot. When we arrive at the MK we usually go to SM and BTMRR. Ride both a few times when the lines are short. When it starts to get busy, we get a fastpass for one and then run over to the HM ride the HM, break for a early lunch and back to Splash Mountain!

I really like 'em, they really let you make the most of a short trip. While I do miss not being able to see some queues as up close as I'd maybe like avoiding a 20-40 minute line can be worth it. Esp. when that extra time is used to ride something else or eat! So do they still do surprise Fastpasses? I remember a couple years ago they did that for the less popular rides, it was a fun idea...

Last December I got a Surprise Fastpass for HISTA out of a TestTrack FP machine... not sure if they do it more recently than that (though I will report when we go in 8 DAYS!!)

I gotta vote for the fastpass. You have to know what you want ride and when to make the best use of them. Lots of WDW guide books help you with that.

As a Cast Member, Disney's FastPass is a wonderful thing.... when it works. The whole idea around FastPass is that you come back during your hour time window. You see there are a certain about of tickets printed out for each time period... that amout is what the Cast Members base there "ratio" if you will on. Most of the time is a 4 to 1 ratio. However, thats not always the case... if you have someone who hasnt followed some kind of ratio.... it actually hurts those in the standby line... that leads the next cast member to try and 'clean up' the FP line. Also just after parade time you always have an influx of FP Guests. Thats usually the worst time to be in the Standby line. And the worst thing is when guests are late with there FP times.... We will let ya in but keep in mind that those in the Standby line will be forced to wait longer... so what goes around comes around, eventually. Lastly, speaking for every cast member that I ve ever worked with... please dont give the CM working at the FP return enterence why you have to enter before your assigned time.... weve heard it all.... from 'I have to catch my flight' to 'but I have to use the bathroom' and Ive even heard, 'well come on man, Im on my last ride and myself and the wife need to go back to the room, if you know what I mean'. (Yea that last one was actually used... kinda creepy right?) Anyways thats a little insite into Disney's FastPass system, from a Cast Members eyes. If you know how to use the FastPass system your set. Its not a hard system to understand but the best way to learn how to use it is ASK A CAST MEMBER!! we will give you all our 'inside tips'. After all we also go to the park and use the FastPass system as well. If you want any tips (especially from a Magic Kingdom Cast Member) feel free to ask me... but I cant give away all of our hidden ways...LOL.

Fastpass'es are great. Sure it sucks when you're in standby line and you see tons of people passing you in the Fastpass line but thats how the system works. And if you don't like it, visit WDW during a dead time of year when you don't need FP
