Saratoga Springs Resort review

Post by gorilla » Nov Fri 18, 2005 11:19 am

Well seeing as this is the last place I stayed, I figured I'd review it for you all.

Let me start by saying it is the BEST place I've stayed. It is so relaxing!

Try to request a view of Downtown Disney. This is the best area to stay in. The resort is in minutes walking distance to DD. But when in your room, you can't hear any of it! No loud music, not even fireworks!

They all have patios which are wonderful. THe rooms are fantastic. We've stayed in a studio and a one bed room. (We purposely did this to experience both.) Jacussi in the one bed room! It was simply a beautiful and confortible room. Full kitchen.

Bike rentals, and a little community activity room with ping pong, computers, crafts, a movie theater, arcade, ect.

There are 3 pools, but only the larger one is little kid friendly. It has 2 water slides. And of course it hase the Golf Course. WIth no major buses or monorail, its one of the quietest and most relaxing places.

The Spa. What can I say, my wife was in heaven. You want to be pampered, the spa at Saratoga is the place!

The ONLY downfall is the food. There is only ONE place to eat. A La Carte style. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But there is no anchor restaraunt. This is due to the fact that it is so close to DD, one could eat there.

I can't recommend this enough, if you want a more relaxing yet still fun for the kids resort.

We are now looking at staying at the nickalodien hotel next time. (Yeah its not Disney.) We already toured it, and I have to say it looks fun as hell!

Hey thanks for the timely review! My family is considering staying at this resort. I'll be sure to have them read this. :)
