I would imagine it also was a dick measuring contest between foodservice and retail/consumer products. If they suddenly lost 10% of their floor space in every E-ticket's exit lobby to some form of concession stand it starts to take value out of their group. Throw in that they had a pretty rough year on their own, leadership would get defensive.
