MK Streaming 4th of July Fireworks

Post by theBIGyowski » Jul Fri 03, 2015 4:45 pm

Read on the Disney Blog today that MK will be live streaming the 4th of July fireworks. The live stream will start at 8:50 PM EDT and the fireworks start at 9:00 PM.

They didn't give a link yet, but here is the story on the blog. I assume they will put links on there before the show starts.

They did say that they are not recording them, so if you miss the live stream you are out of luck. Of course, I'm sure someone will record it and post to YouTube.

Nice ~ thanks for the info! Won't be the same as being there, but at least it won't be very crowded and I know where all the restrooms are!

Well...there was so much traffic on the Disney Parks Blog on Saturday evening that it crashed. Good job to Disney for not thinking they would have a ton of people hitting the blog even after they told everyone to go there at the same exact time.

Thankfully someone on Twitter put a link to the YouTube page for Disney Parks live events that had the fireworks going. Not sure why Disney didn't just put that link out there instead of trying to route everyone through their blog.

The fireworks were great and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them, knowing we were joining everyone there in the parks as well as everyone else watching the stream around the world. We also enjoyed laying in our bed in our pajamas watching it, knowing that everyone there was shoulder-to-shoulder and worn out from a day at the park...and preparing to be herded like cattle once the fireworks were over.

I hope they do more live streaming events like this in the future.
