Disney Family Culinary Adventure

Anyone thinking of trying out the latest backstage adventure being offered at the Contemporary? It looks like it would be fun, but the price ($175+tax for adults, and $125+tax for ages 9-12) seems a bit high to me, although I suppose when you include the fact that you are having a five course meal with adult beverages at the conclusion of the adventure, perhaps the price isn't all that out of line. The tour says it is aimed at guests ages 9 and up, but I can't imagine too many young children that would be excited about this unless they were really interested in culinary arts. It will be interesting to see what reviews pop up after it starts operating in a week or so.
Here is the link with more information if anyone is interested.

It is a growing trend to the point that some arts high schools are now offering programs in the field. Five course tasting menu (it might not be a tasting menu, but just a normal dinner), probably in the ballpark for them. It all depends on what is being served.
