There was some sweet basmati rice and and sweet plantains. There was a place for bobotie but it was empty both times I passed by. Next trip, we have reservations at Be Our Guest for breakfast one morning, then I get to have one working breakfast at Kona but otherwise, we'll be doing breakfast in the room (it's nice to have a full kitchen on vacation).
Hmm, I would have thought they would have a few more things than that. I wonder if you would have asked if more bobotie would have appeared? I would like to try that although I'm not sure if I would like it. Never had curry it might depend on what the meat used in the dish was. We don't eat much meat at all anymore so I have to be careful about what I do eat.
Will this be your first time trying Be Our Guest for breakfast? That looks like the best meal to me there, although I'm curious to see what the portion sizes look like as it sounds a bit expensive for what is offered.

Yes, and yes, it does seem expensive for a breakfast, but we shall see what the portion sizes end up being. Finished my dining plan vs out-of-pocket comparison and DP looks to be a $20 savings for 2 adults and that with dining at 3 signature restaurants. :)

the nice thing with Be Our Guest is that if you are on the meal plan, it counts like a counter service for breakfast if you so choose. that's what we figure we are going to do for it, and then later in our trip when we are all stuffed to the gills after eating out so much just do a snack-ish lunch since we will then be short a lunch in a manner of speaking

Coffee is our Disney fuel!

We bring our own coffee and throw away to-go cups to have in the morning and on our way to the parks! Plus, pre-starbucks, we had all of our Joffrey's locations mapped out to always get the best coffee with the most caffeine! Especially for our trip in October being the first time I'm taking my one year old, the coffee will be plentiful!

At least now I'm used to being awake and on the go with little sleep. :-)
