OK, never posted a picture on here... so I followed the de-structions from everyone and got a photobucket thing going. So here is my first try. It's a scan of my "old" Magic Kingdom Club card from 1969! When my Aunt's card expired, she gave it to me and I put my name on it. I guess this goes under the header, you know you're a WDW nut when... you have all your old Disney stuff saved in a special container!

That's so cool cousininmiami!!!! WOW! I love to be able to look back at my old stuff from Disney!
If I did Facebook I would follow Len and family and also Kelly. I just can't into the whole Facebook thing, so I will rely on Sub for trip reports!
You know you're a WDW nut when....you're going into work at 6:00am and the smell of fresh cut grass/mulch make you smile just for a moment b/c you close your eyes and pretend you're going into one of the parks for the day. But, then reality strikes and I entered into work. But, just for a moment, I was happy and in WDW!

Oddly enough, I wasn't really talking about me specifically, just people in general...nameless people...or is that people who will remain nameless?Amy wrote:I haven't been on a vacation in so long...but I think I might do that the next time I go! You know you're a SUBSONIC nut when...
...you go on a week long trip to Walt Disney World, and - when you tell everyone you don't check your e-mail and just tune out the outside world - you still find yourself checking to see what gets posted on the subsonic board anyway.![]()

... when you open up some spices to rub on your chicken prior to grilling on the 4th of July and you notice that the spice smells amazingly like the burning Rome smell in Spaceship Earth.
(it's McCormick's Montreal Chicken spice if anyone wants a cheap mental vacation to EPCOT)

Desperate times call for desperate measures...we're both stuck in states that feel like Florida but have none of the Disney-ness to go along with the weathermindflipper wrote:Y'know, there's something gruesome about that...![]()

mindflipper - I talked to some family yesterday who said it was a mere 89 degrees in Jax yesterday while it was 101 here with the humidity in upper Maryland. That's crazy.
