I would guess some of the people on here are close to having done that. I would love to have the chance to, but I think it is out of my price range to stay at any of the deluxe resorts ~ but I never say never!Belle1082 wrote:...Has anyone (or know of anyone) who has stayed at every single Walt Disney World resort? Re: Your Absolute Favorite WDW Resort
We are nowhere near accomplshing this as we have only stayed on property once...but that trip has sparked the interest to do this. The deluxe hotels are quite out of our price range too, but even if we only can stay at a deluxe hotel for one or two nights out of the whole trip, it would be worth it to say we've stayed there.Amy wrote:I would guess some of the people on here are close to having done that. Port Orleans seems to be a very popular resort for many people on here and many 'regulars' if you will. I think we all know what we want and PO provides everything we could want and more! haha
When I was 12 years old - my dad surprised our family with booking a couple nights at the Grand Floridian where my Mom had always wanted to stay - and what ended up happening is our travel agent told the resort about this surprise and they upgraded our two nights stay to one of the suites in the main building. I can't even imagine how much a night in that room/s actually cost, but it was magnificent!

Now I feel personally challenged to stay at Port Orleans just to say I have, just like the rest of the membersBelle1082 wrote:Port Orleans seems to be a very popular resort for many people on here and many 'regulars' if you will. The only two places I will ever need to be are Manhattan and Disney World.

big footprint, but POR is really close no matter which bldg you are at.. bldg 36, it was no more than a 5 min walk to QS. had a bus stop outside as well, but those are better fro when you are coming BACK to the hotel, always better off leaving from the front desk. (also did not share a bus with FQ, all to ourselves, all week!)

Yeah...on our last trip, DW and I stayed at OKW for part of our time there, and we noticed that if we walked to the main bus stop to go to the parks, it was much easier and pleasant. When coming back to our resort, we would just ride to the bus stop outside of our room building.dstrawn9889 wrote:big footprint, but POR is really close no matter which bldg you are at.. bldg 36, it was no more than a 5 min walk to QS. had a bus stop outside as well, but those are better fro when you are coming BACK to the hotel, always better off leaving from the front desk. I would love to stay at the Contemporary (for the monorail), Polynesian (for O'hana) or the Grand Floridian (just for the fun of it).
