I did go for the passholder preview weekend, I thought it was an excellent ride. I felt the stops just added to the tension and the overall experience. I do wish the yeti was displayed longer. I rode it 8 times that weekend.

Only 8 times !?!

You sound like me the last time I rode mission space. I rode it 5 times after eating a different food after each time... figured I would test myself for space travel!

Rich - your stomach is crazy! How it made it is beyond me. So have you filled out your application for NASA yet?

Side note - I made a shot of the village and mountain [from Jan. - taken over the new lower construction walls] the background of my computer at work and people have seriously asked if I've been to Tibet. After I explained that my passport really isn't as well used as it should be they were in awe that it wasn't half a world away. The true sign they got it right is when it fools the mind into thinking it is the real deal...

There is a new game on Disney's Everest web site that allows you to get a free on ride photo if you complete it.

You have to complete all 3 episodes in order to win.

Disney Everest Website:

http://www.disneyeverest.com/

Here is a direct link to the game:

http://www.disneyeverest.com/yetivision/download.html

Once I complete it I will give more details about the free pic

G2-4T wrote:Yeah - it was a really short run, one year or less. Seems like with some work they could bring it back since they already sunk money into the general infrastructure [boats, docks, etc]
Rumor has it that they are going to use the river to move guests from the DAK Lodge to and from the Park..

I've heard that too, Pro, and I hope it's soon. Guests would love that.

Yay for Everest having it's official opening tomorrow! Boo for it being closed today just for the preparation hoopla for that. I hope I get a chance to ride it again before I leave florida.
