The Fantasyland expansion is something that has been long overdue. I think adding a new dark ride..and a new mine coaster is a great addition...not to mention a new restaurant as well...something that the MK needs desperately. Couple this with the NextGen additions the company is making around the parks...I am looking forward to the next few years of vacationing at WDW

I just hope the renovation bug is contagious and leads to moves for improving DHS an EPCOT. The next few years are going to be extremely exciting as we will get to see the magic kingdom transform.Peerless83 wrote:The Fantasyland expansion is something that has been long overdue. One can only hope. But this is TDO we are talking about. Only reason FLE and Star Tours 2 are happening is because Corporate wen't over their heads and said it was happening.Len90 wrote:I just hope the renovation bug is contagious and leads to moves for improving DHS an EPCOT. Only thing I keep hearing about for the next few years is the Monster's Inc. ride and possibly a Jungle Cruise refurb, which has been greenlit but pushed back since 06.

Hmmmm, Jungle Cruise is one of those attractions we left out of the topic thread about what attractions need to be renovated. And it could use a facelift...

Nah, I think part of the fun is how worn it is. I'd like to leave it as it is.mindflipper wrote:Hmmmm, Jungle Cruise is one of those attractions we left out of the topic thread about what attractions need to be renovated. And it could use a facelift...

Don't worry -if they can spend the money elsewhere, they will. It doesn't seem the JC is one of their top priorities.
Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
Oh, it's on their top 5 to do list. TDO just doesn't want to spend the money on JC and spend it elsewhere. Seem it's always stuck at number 5...mindflipper wrote:Don't worry -if they can spend the money elsewhere, they will. It doesn't seem the JC is one of their top priorities.

Are there still movie rumors out there? Maybe they are waiting.

Hmmmm, if it's number 5 - but it's always stuck on the list at #5 and never gets done - doesn't that prove essentially that it's not a top priority?!?MadEye wrote:Oh, it's on their top 5 to do list. The rumor is that of the top 5, only JC will happen after Fantasyland Expansion is done and open. The rest before and during it's opening(s).mindflipper wrote:Hmmmm, if it's number 5 - but it's always stuck on the list at #5 and never gets done - doesn't that prove essentially that it's not a top priority?!?MadEye wrote:Oh, it's on their top 5 to do list. Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
It honestly does feel like it's been a lengthy amount of time since the rumors for JC have begun. I for one do enjoy the fact that the attraction is still an original from opening day and I can't recall any major refurbs off of the top of my head.

There have been refurbs, but nothing changed or added; the attraction was maintained as is.Len90 wrote:It honestly does feel like it's been a lengthy amount of time since the rumors for JC have begun. Okay so I was not losing it. I knew it's had small things done over the years to keep it up.mindflipper wrote:There have been refurbs, but nothing changed or added; the attraction was maintained as is.Len90 wrote:It honestly does feel like it's been a lengthy amount of time since the rumors for JC have begun.
