...when you are on the tractor, mowing with your Disney crocs on, and you look down and think, wouldn't it be cool if you got a suntan with little Mickey Mouse silhouettes on your tootsies?!
(no such luck however

Maybe...

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Wow, bro, that was profound. Knowing what you've been through these past few months or so, that had a lot of meaning. *sniff*

You're in Chicag on a beautiful Sunday after running the Lincoln Park Zoo Run, you visit their conservatorium and all you can think about is "wow, is so much like being in the Land!"

OMG! I loved the Lincoln Park Conservatory! Visited it and the zoo when I visited Chi-town a few years ago!

So cool mindflipper that you know what I'm talking about!!! It was just beautiful.
Amy, my time is no where near what it used to be. I'm recovering from an injury that kept me from running for over a year. I was told that I would be "lucky" if I ever ran a 5K again. So for me, yesterday was a total victory. I ran 6.2 miles pain free! My time was 1:03:04. I used to be 5-6 mins. faster than that. But, I'm so thankful to be running again! I'm one of those crazies that LOVES to run!

I run with my dad which is so special to me too. He's 62 and can still kick my a**!!! But, we run as a team.
Thanks for asking!!!

That is nice that your Dad runs with you. Sounds like you can still kick up the heels pretty well after your injury. Is your Dad a Disney nut as well?!

Thanks Amy! I'm working my way back to my old pace time.

My parent's both love Disney, but I think I'm the true NUT in the family. They started it though, they started taking me when I was 3. My dad and I have run several races in Disney and they are the most "Magical" runs I've ever had! Seriously, I've always felt fantastic when I run there! We did the 1/2 marathon in '05, the Minnie Marathon 15K in May '07 and the Tower of Terror 13K in Oct. '07. We hope to run the 1/2 again someday?!
That's so cool that others know the Conservatory in Chicago!
