I completely agree but the additions are just excellent without ruining the feel or tone of the rides!

What have they done to ToT other than the adjustment in the drop portion of the ride?

Well obviously the adjustments to the drops with the random ride sequences and different scenes they've added there are the biggest change. They've also added the second picture that they take on the first floor and then show you in the eye when you're moving into the drop shaft.

The eye thing wasn't new though, it was a feature from the start that they had removed I think. What new scenes?

Yes, the eye is not new, but it used to show a generic photo of guests in the elevator. Now it shows an actual photo of your elevator.

I was referring to the scenes in the drop shaft. There's a couple of different movies at the bottom. There's also a place where you can see the ghost of the nanny and the little girl with some kind of equipment that does a couple of different things.

The eye thing wasn't new though, it was a feature from the start that they had removed I think.

They had problems with the pictures in the eye in the 90's and turned it off. With the advancement of technology, they can now use it without so many problems, which is great because it was always weird to me when they showed a photo randomly chosen before they got rid of it.

It is pretty interesting that ToT and HM have received the most refurb attention. Of course, I wish they'd fix the steam system on the ToT queue. I love the mist when you enter, but last summer, no mist...

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen them! I guess we only get that ride sequence on the other shaft.

Is it broken? I thought they just don't have it turned on because usually the line isn't long enough.

Ah, but no one was expecting a picture before the drops started. Even after the flashes for the camera, most thought it was the lights in the "hallway" flashing when they "ghosts" appear.

It wouldn't matter what ride sequence you get, which set of characters from the ride depends on what side you are riding on.
