Let's just hope that is a temporary thing. The new bridge looks a bit naked and incomplete without the sign. It will be interesting if Disney keeps both bridges standing as is. Could the skinny one be used to link to the pathways that bypass the castle for fantasyland during the shows?

I'm sure the sign will be replaced soon. I'm guessing they realized it was more important to get the bridge open and let the bigger crowds flow since spring break season is really ramping up. They can always put the sign up any time...

I have a feeling that they are going to, they just need to make a bigger sign because the new bridge is a lot wider than the previous! There is actually room to walk around slower guests now.

I thought there were several things about the construction of the second bridge that made it appear to be very temporary (I'm thinking unstained/unpainted lumber and a quick support system) - it looks pretty atypical for Disney if you looked down under the bridge.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Thinking on it, I think maybe they're waiting until after the Spring Break crowds to put up the walls and take down the temporary bridge.

That would make sense. They may also have to close the main bridge for a few days to put the sign up.

I would think they could put up the sign overnight...

Quite true, as a lot of maintenance is done over night in all the parks...

Yes, they might depending on how involved it is. I was just considering it as another possible reason for why they'd leave the other one for now - hurrying to open it for spring break crowds, but knowing they'd be closing it again shortly.

Well, I did use the word yet when I saw the bridge open sans the "Adventureland" sign. The sign has arrived:

I like the accessability, but I do miss the bump (I'm such a traditionalist. ).
