What would you change in the Studios?

For those who haven't seen it, someone should find an arial shot over the park before the hat was built, the whole layout of that part of the park was a hidden Mickey with the chinese theater as his mouth, the flower beds as his nose and eyes and even the lake as one if his ears.

Someone here has that shot and has posted it on one of the other threads. I think it might be in Hidden Mickey's somewhere near the beginning.

That's so cool. I never knew that. Although there needs to be more at DHS, you can't fault the design of the place (well, except for the hat).

I don't remember it pre-hat so I was wondering what the big deal is? After all everyone loves sorcerer Mickey! After seeing those pictures, NOW I understand!
Get rid of the hat!

As far as the whole park I think some new Pixar rides would be helpful, and yes, expand the Muppet presence. We always have a hard time with the Studios because our kids are younger and not really up to doing Tot or Rockin. There is not a lot here for the whole family. Toy Story Mania certainly helps.

They are refurbing the Backlot Tour???

I also really loved the fireworks at MGM before the stupid hat arrived!

Do they not do the fireworks there anymore, or are they simply obscured by the hated hat?

To my knowledge the only fireworks done now at DHS are Fantasmic. I forget the name of the firework show when it was MGM and before the ugly hat.

The only thing I would change is the size of the hated hat. Make it smaller so my fellow Mayhem Marauders won't be so put out by it.

Seriously, the Backlot Tour needs to be updated. We just went on it, and the walking tour before the tram is old, boring, and outdated. The backlot tour itself is the same every time, old boring and doesn't do much. It used to go down rows of backlot houses, now it just circles through a building and then goes to catastrophe canyon. I won't go on it again until they update or change it.

Glad you mentioned that.... I had almost forgotten. We felt the same way. Very disappointed with it when we went. Seems like they could have shown us more interesting stuff.

Would in then be able to sort us and name what house we would be in? Do I have the correct hat or park for that matter?
