It's true, Future Guy. That pavilion is so sad. It seems like the Imagineers were not entirely awake when they were imagining the horizon lines at Epcot. That's not the only problem. What about the warehouse???

The warehouse? Are you referring to the Soarin' show building?

I'm underwhelmed with just about the whole of future world and lament the decay of what Epcot ment to a generation. The edutainment factor is all but gone and along with it went most of the wonder and character that made the park unique. Three minute thrill experiences seem to be what Disney believes the public wants today where previously Disney gave the public more of what it needed; lengthy, engrossing, detail ladden journeys that dazzled the senses and made the imagination wander long after you left the attraction. With the exception of "Soarin" ,future world has slowly lost it's luster since 92'. Look around the horn and compare- although the technologies are impressive the experiences are a far cry from the ones they replaced. Horizons and World of Motion to me were more repeatable and so much more endearing than MS and TT. Going fast or even slow on a hilly or great themed coaster is one thing but going 65mph in a car, well, I'm just not thrilled. I can go 80 just outside Disney property. All of us that remember the classic version of Imagination know there is probally no other attraction remembered more fondly. It was huge, full of detail and story. Enough said on that, it has been talked out. The living Seas evolution I find the most disheartening. It once was proudly the largest exhibit of its kind. The pershow was dreamy and superb. The hydrolators and the loading dock with the water underneath made you feel as if you left the sun and concrete. Most importantly, it was full of sea life which was the star. Over the last decade that sea life has faded to barely an exhibit. The Nemo ride and Turtle talk are very cool tech. , however it saddens me that the highlight now of this pavillion is no longer the natural world that celebrates the sea and all its living creatures but to see animated images projected over the real deal. Also the sun streaming into the building with the doors constantly opening just kills the other worldly spirit it once had. I perfer real guides in Living with the land than the recording we have now. I perfer "Icestation Cool" to "Club Cool". Even Spaceship Earth which I think is more important to Epcot than any single attraction is to its host park is a dimished version of itself. While still enjoyable, (the first half visiual enhancements are great) the script has been dumbed down and doen't cary the weight it once had. It is more about technology than the history of human communication. Walter Cronkite and Jeremy Irons versions were both fabulous. Judy Dench's version just doesn't cary the gravitas. The climax is anti-climatic and the desent and return to earth is now barren. The video questions could have been added to the post show games. The thing I miss most about Epcot past is the wonderful songs and how they evoke memories. "Tomorrow's Child," "Horizons", "Making Memories", "Listen to the Land",and the full version of "One Little Spark" have not been equaled or attempted . As for the Wonders of life pavillion I just shake my head and spend the majority of my day in World Showcase which is wonderful but does miss the Tapestry of Nations.

Wow, I must say, well said bravetaylor! We continue to visit Epcot b/c we will always love Disney, but the Seas saddens me the most. I felt that was a very special exhibit, a one of it's kind.

It does look so wrong where-ever you see from at World Showcase - it looks like a part of Canada, and it just doesn't fit as part of Canada. Would it have killed them to make it look like a mountian instead so that when it is seen looking like part of Canada it could blend in better?

I agree. When Tower of Terror was constructed, they went to the trouble of making it the same color as Morocco's buildings, since it could be seen from EPCOT and they didn't want it to look obviously out-of-place. Just a few years later, though, they're too cheap to do something similar with a structure that's in the same park.

Another good reason for me to get composing and try to get a job at WDW ~ the music makes it for me :D

Please someone save EPCOT! I liked the duet version of Canada's film song, but the new version just feels like a cheap "American Idol" version of the song. Alot of Disney's theme-park songs are starting to feel like they've been "American Idol"-ized. Ugghh!!! :x

Restore the Wonders of Life and the Imagination Pavilions. I know this is 2 things not just 1 but both of these areas are equally sad.

Already mentioned by everyone, but I have to throw my vote in for the Imagination Pavilion - for such a large area, there has to be something to do there!!!

Also, it would be nice to update the Test Track theming - I know nothing about car manufacturing, but I would imagine that automobile design and testing has changed in the last few years...???

I would imagine there's advancement in the testing methods all the time but I think the ride has tried to stick to some of the more standardized tests that have been done for years without much changes.
