You really can get caught up in that world during your stay. How do you leave the parks?

Watch the fireworks,
Maybe go back on some attractions if it is open late, or Extra Magic Hours,
Get cookies and milk on Main Street on the way out and take our time strolling towards the exit and catch our bus.
The only park we usually rush out of is the Studios, we always try to beat the Fantasmic crowd.

"now, bring me that horizon"
We pretty much take our time in getting out to avoid the rush to the monorail/bus/boat. Usually, that's the time we have set aside to do our shopping since we're on the go with rides and stuff during the day. The parks take on such a different atmosphere at night and we usually make it a point to soak it all in.

I am usually in no hurry to leave the parks at night..Ill usually take a final walk around..let the crowds clear..enjoy the empty park..listen to the background music that you cant really hear during the noisey operating hours..and finally when I think the monorail line has died down..ill head on out..either back to my hotel..or luckily I live close enough I can just drive home..and if its early enough..ill head on over to Jelly Rolls!

Re: How do you leave the parks?
That's how we almost always leave. If we're at Epcot, after watching the fireworks, we take our time getting to MouseGear. Then, we usually do some shopping there.lovesdisney44 wrote: Now, after going a few times, we finish what we want, then leisurley stroll along and stop at whatever shops we want, or just look @ all the details in the park. By the time we reach the exit and the bus stop or boat launch all the crowds have diminished and we get to our resort unstressed.![]()
That's the way we love to leave the parks now!
If we're in the Magic Kingdom, we usually try to hit the Haunted Mansion after the fireworks (or Mickey's Philharmagic, now that we've been going with our daughter (5)). Then, it's on to Main Street, U.S.A. for some shopping.
If we're in the Hollywood Studios, after Fantasmic, we usually go to the candy store at Sunset Blvd.
My goodness, I am really missing Disney right now. I just requested the Resort TV (Full) and I'm listening to it as I type. I think I'll make ressies next week!!!!

Well this year we decided to do a more classic last day. We went to the pool, then on to EPCOT for some attractions and where we had dinner reservations at Coral Reef. After that it was the monorail over to MK. We went around did a few attractions, hung around tomorrowland during the wishes fireworks and then went over to the bakery for a last snack. While there we got to see the 11PM spectro go by (I am able to say that I did cry as I watched it go by eating my chocolate chip cookie). We then casually walked around Main street looking in the Emporium and made small last minute purchase. Then it was time to leave so I took my one final look at the castle and said "I hope to see you soon". Finally it was over to the bus stop where I got to watch one of the Express monorails transfer over to the service beam and back to the shop as our finally bus rolled into the stop.
Last attraction: Monster Inc. Laugh Factory
Last Meal: Main Street Bakery
Last Bus: It was a Nova
Hopefully we will be able to go back next year. Right now middle to end of June looks like it is the only shot for next year.

If by BC you mean the Beach Club, then your exit is going to be very tough after you see the pool.karenj2 wrote:We generally get a snack & relax for a while, then check out the stores... I'm looking forward to staying at the BC this year - it should make our exits a bit easier.
