Re: Soarin' over _____?
that might be a good look for me on halloween... no, i better not. anyway, i'm sure the real new jersey(ians?) can spot a fake a mile away. now that i think about it, maybe the atlantic city gangster types don't disney. at least i never recall seeing 'em. it was always the accent not the dress that gave 'em away when i'd be talking to them in line for some ride or another.

Re: Soarin' over _____?
It would be neat if they had different videos from the different park areas. Sorin' over Paris, Tokyo, Orlando, etc. Then, you don't know where you will be Sorin' over until the video starts. That would be neat.
Re: Soarin' over _____?
There is so much more in the world than just the parks and the surrounding areas. If it's set in just the USA, give me Mt. Rushmore, the Arch in St. Louis, the Grand Canyon, etc. If it's the world give me Rome/Venice/Florence, London, Cairo/The Great Pyramids, Moscow, Rio, Toronto/Quebec/Vancouver (yes I know they are in the O' Canada), etc.proudcanuck wrote:It would be neat if they had different videos from the different park areas. If it changes to the world, I can see them changing the cities every five years to keep it fresh.

Re: Soarin' over _____?
Given it took about 20 years to update China and Canada films (France still hasn't been updated) at EPCOT, 5 years would be wishful thinking...

10 years, since it's the same film as DCA. I didn't catch "Reflections of China" but is it like "Oh... Canada?" where they took the original 80's movie and cut in a few commentary scenes filmed in the last 10 years?

About half is the old film, then they threw some new stuff in, and added a lot of Martin Short as well...Wizzard419 wrote:10 years, since it's the same film as DCA. Re: Soarin' over _____?
Soarin' over Italy would be nice, there are so many places. But first and formost, they need to make Soarin' over Florida. They can still use the orange and pine smells, hehe.

Re: Soarin' over _____?
I love the idea of each ride being random. Develop a Soarin film for the World Showcase countries and each time you ride it's random what you'll get....Sounds difficult but it is Epcot.

Re: Soarin' over _____?
Technically. This would not be that difficult.rphillips14 wrote:I love the idea of each ride being random. Develop a Soarin film for the World Showcase countries and each time you ride it's random what you'll get....Sounds difficult but it is Epcot.
Expensive.
But not difficult

I have to agree with MadEye - I think it needs to be soarin over the world. Let's be more global. I would like to add Hawaii, Machu Picchu, and the Alps.MadEye wrote:There is so much more in the world than just the parks and the surrounding areas. If it's set in just the USA, give me Mt. ...and the Taj Mahal in India, Mt. Fuji maybe, or Costa Rica, or perhaps...
