I forgot about Mind the Gap... Sigh - I need a vacation!
As for the track, what you hear are track joints. The cars bang them each time they go over the joints and the process ends up making the joints more and more off. Someday they'll have to go back and fix it but that will require removing cars from the endless Omnimover which would be a big hassle I imagine...

Oh yes. it really feels cool, I can't wait to see the re-furb this year. I just hope they didn't change it to much. I'm really glad the didn't change it into a rollercoaster, which was the rumor for a while. its that last of the old great epcot rides.
