Hope you enjoy working at the Studios! I want some pictures of the lovely tacky costumes

Oddly enough, today's batch of photos from the Magic Kingdom /do/ contain photos of me and some of the other people I was there with. (I hadn't read the form before I went this morning ;))

A few of the photos are again blurry.. My camera doesn't like me, I don't think...

This is by far the largest batch of photos to date, 181 in total, which managed to fill all three of my camera cards (with lower quality settings being used on the smaller cards so I could fit them all on!)

The golden decorations from the castle are now completely gone, as you will see in the photos.. Shame I never got to see them.. The crane is still "hiding" behind the castle, as you can see in one of the photos.

We arrived at the park at roughly 11am, left after wishes. All day, we could walk straight on any of the rides with minimal queuing. 10 minutes was the most we queued all day, and we did *every* ride. (Well, I didn't personally, I missed out Splash Mountain and the Tea Party due to having just eaten at the time, but between us we did them all).

So.. The photos are at http://www.andrewpoole.org.uk/disney/photos/mk/

This one is me and Minnie Mouse: http://www.andrewpoole.org.uk/disney/ph ... et152.html
and me with Chip and Dale: (not that you can see my face on it though..) http://www.andrewpoole.org.uk/disney/ph ... et153.html

Anyway. Time for bed now. Need to be up early tomorrow!

Cheers,

Andy.

Well I'm going to Disney-MGM Studios tomorrow morning at 7:15 for a tour of the entire park. Officially, I started today with the Traditions course. I've now also got a nametag :)

One of the pictures from the Astro, You can see the ground and there is NOBODY there. You really are right about it being empty. It seems like there was 10 people in Tomorrowland alone lol.

The pic with Chip and Dale is real cute.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

It was slightly busier today. There was still no problem getting on rides.. minimal queues (except, of course, when it decided it wanted to rain lots for a little while). Managed to catch Spectromagic tonight as well as re-watching Wishes (this time complete with Tinkerbell who seemed to be absent last night for whatever reason.. possibly the slight rain that was present throughout the show)

I've put photos from today's trip (which are mostly of Spectromagic and Wishes) on my site now at http://www.andrewpoole.org.uk/disney/photos/mk2/

Also today, I got my nametag and a cast-only pin:

Tomorrow, I find out exactly where in Disney-MGM studios I'll be working, I think.

Cheers,

Andy. Off to bed!

Heh. Well on Monday evening I was working on the Popcorn stand next to the hat. I'm off this afternoon and tomorrow, and on Friday my schedule says "Churro". I'm not sure what's happening on Saturday yet.. Need to check on that.

Andy. Off to Downtown Disney in about an hour, then off to Magic Kingdom tonight for Wishes with some friends :)

Ooh, I know exactly which stand you're talking about(kinda sad, huh?).

I didn't know MGM sold churros. Wow. The only place I can think of is around Sunset or Fantasmic. Mmm, churros.

Anyways, have fun seeing Wishes! Be sure to enjoy your days off.

I believe there's a cart that sells churros just across the path from the popcorn cart I was on, but I'm not sure.

Andy. Just back from Downtown Disney, and now off to the Magic Kingdom with friends (Yes, I have friends. Try not to faint.) :)
