I really feel like being at a park today, but I just don't want it to be Memorial Day weekend! Does the *snap* thread have a time machine? Maybe I need to dust off my TARDIS...

Remember, this is a fantasy dream world...sure it may be Memorial Day weekend, but we can *snap* and wait...what??? All the mousekobliviots decided to head to USO for the weekend leaving only those die-hard Disney fans to enjoy the parks???? Right on!!!
...as if
that would ever happen...

Are you a theme-park binge right now, MadEye? The other day it was USO.
USO wasn't planned. Busch had been for at least 2 weeks. Who knows, maybe Sea World next week (if IoA isn't doing previews for Harry Potter that is).
I wish I lived in Florida and could pop into the themeparks like you do MadEye!

Only thing would be to try and find a place away from the tourists (no offense...). Trust me, helps.

HEY! What's wrong with being a tourist?!?
Just teasing...I don't know how many times I've travelled and have been embarassed by my fellow tourists (especially when I travelled in Europe - I can understand how the phrase "Ugly American" came into being...)

They
always look into the eyes of Mara...that's what!
I totally understand both how MadEye feels and the point you're making mindflipper. I guess being from a "touristy" town, you're more aware of how you act while on vacation and understanding of being on the receiving end of the never-ending parade of obliviots.

It could be worse. Just saying.

With a set-up like that - "It could be worse" - and no follow-through. C'mon, if you have story - tell it! You can leave names out of it.

No story. Just stating a fact. Live in South Florida for 24 years and you'll understand.

I'm with you MadEye. I've been living in South Florida my whole life (22 years). They are all over the place

Well after the week of 90's and humidity also in the 90%'s that we have just been having here in Michigan, I am starting to rethink my desire to work for Disney in Florida ~ only problem is Cali is too expensive

And I can see where tourists would start to wear on your nerves...
But I digress ~ Soooo...*snap* I am just entering the Journey to the Center of the Earth queue in Tokyo DisneySea, ahhhh, stand-by line is only 5 minutes ~ score!

It's a great ride, but I wish it was a WDW to *snap* to ride. For Tokyo Disneysea, you would have to turn the bednob three times and tap (the other thread)...but I've done it for you and going along for the ride!

Ok, let me see if I can manage to get into the right park *snap* I am in line for Tower of Terror. The stand-by line is just long enough to enjoy a few minutes of the awesome lobby music before entering the cool darkness of the study...nee-nee-nee-nee-nee-nee-nee-nee-dun-dun-duuuun
