this video is kind of like a "teaser" trailer. you can't really tell what you have here, but it catches your interest. i hope one of the subsonics (on their upcoming trip) takes a quick video of this in it's "working" form. i'd be interested to see if this is an improvement, or added bottleneck. i'd also just like to plain old see how it works. hopefully one of you guys can get it.MadEye wrote:The official Disney Parks blog has this video for the behind the scenes for the new Pooh queue.

Unfortunately, rumors are just rumors. The one I hear more prevalently is that they will be closing Snow White's Scary Adventure for a princess meet and greet (UGH!) after the Dwarf's Mine Train is built.NaCler wrote:I have really been hearing a lot about this Mine Coaster lately. Then I heard that Snow White is closing in February next year. Does anyone know more on this? What's the latest rumor???
That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw those honey wallsnicklesm17 wrote:thanks amy & kcarts. i'm not very happy w/ this. i'm glad they were able to save the tree from pooh's playful spot, but overall this seems more problem than plus. i noticed the 70 min wait time. this time of year for that ride, i think that tells you what "interactive" can do for rides. as a parent i've successfully made it through 3 wdw trips w/ children not getting sick. i credit this "sick"cess to these two phrases: "take your mouth off that"... and more often used "don't touch that". thank you disney for offering this single location to accumulate the most germs, and as a bonus i get to be the mean parent who won't allow his kids to touch what everyone else is touching. i wonder, was the "mom panel" consulted on this one?
the new pooh queue, from the minds that brought duffy to america.
Still not as bad as all the hand rails you touch in a single day!! No one will be able to sit on the honey walls...Amy wrote:That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw those honey wallsnicklesm17 wrote:thanks amy & kcarts. i'm not very happy w/ this. i'm glad they were able to save the tree from pooh's playful spot, but overall this seems more problem than plus. i noticed the 70 min wait time. this time of year for that ride, i think that tells you what "interactive" can do for rides. as a parent i've successfully made it through 3 wdw trips w/ children not getting sick. i credit this "sick"cess to these two phrases: "take your mouth off that"... and more often used "don't touch that". thank you disney for offering this single location to accumulate the most germs, and as a bonus i get to be the mean parent who won't allow his kids to touch what everyone else is touching. i wonder, was the "mom panel" consulted on this one?

Yeah, I won't go very close to the honey walls at all, unless I see a CM just finish cleaning themMousekedude wrote:MadEye wrote:Still not as bad as all the hand rails you touch in a single day!! No one will be able to sit on the honey walls...![]()

I'm so glad you brought that up, nicklesm17! I was thinking the same thing, even though I was very interested in seeing it. I can be something of a germophobe, and on every trip I carry a pocket sized bottle of hand sanitizer that I use after each ride. I try not to even touch most of the surfaces of the rides if I can help it, and I even "sanitize" my entire arms if they contact the surfaces. And I never... EVER... touch handrails on stairways or ramps! I think you're right: the "mom panel" was probably not consulted.
Oh, and I love the connection with the "minds that brought us Duffy." Too funny!

I wouldn't wait 70 minutes for a free meal.Amy wrote:Good to hear from another parent's perspective NaCler. I wouldn't wait for 70 minutes for Pooh though ~ unless it was in Tokyo!
