That is always a shame that they were never able to make real canals for real gondola rides around the Italian pavillion. I am proudly half Italian, and I have been to Italy before, but my father is from the area around Florence, so I never got over to Venice to visit and take a gondola ride.
(Of course, the water there is nasty and polluted, so it would have a little clean Disney feel, but still..)

I swear I am gonna get to DLR one day. I have only been to California once, and I know that for the most part a lot of the rides are the same, that is what someone at work (who used to live in Orange County CA) tells me but I still wanna see.

They aren't really the same, at least with the older ones.

I always thought that would be a good attraction as well. I have been on the gondola's in Vegas. I thought it was nice. But maybe they knew you just can't move that many people fast enough through the line. I have never visited Disneyland. It is more than just a bucket list thing for me.

Putting it on the bucket list? Well, you don't have to wait until you are about to die to go to DLR - go when you're still young enough to enjoy it...

The last pavilion they opened in World Showcase was Norway which had both a ride and a film, so, no I don't think they could open a new one without some sort of accompanying attraction to go with it. I think Modern Audiences see Epcot as too much of an amusement park only, and a pavilion without a ride or film, wouldn't be enough of a draw to offset the cost.

There's Japan, UK, and Morrocco (the second-last built pavilion in WS) that have no rides/films and they have crowds. It's kinda like Fields of Dreams: "If you build it, they will come..."

Japan sort of has an attraction (the tin toy collection) but those pavillions only get crowds during illuminations and their area shows. Otherwise there is nothing to do other than spend money or eat food.

"spend money or eat food" - is that the true purpose of all Disney theme-parks?!?

Why just theme parks, it's our national motto "Eat it and spend more money!"

Hence why this country has so many financially constrained people with obesity problems...

I can see Brazil at Epcot every January and July, thank you very much!
Nice idea but I'd rather see some other country... I've always dreamed they'd put in Australia but I can keep dreaming.
