I cannot wait to see these in person!!! Wow! What an effect!!!! I agree with mindflipper that the playful spooks are now just that...personally, I like the head swapping one.

Okay, I tend to get the names confused, so if someone can correct me, please do:MmeLeota wrote:I cannot wait to see these in person!!! Wow! What an effect!!!! I agree with mindflipper that the playful spooks are now just that...personally, I like the head swapping one.
Gus - short one with ball & chain
Phineas - tall one tipping the hat - is the head-swapper in the mirrors
Ezra - carpet-bagging chubby one - blows your head like a balloon
Did you notice what the ghosts does change depending upon if there is one person in the doombuggy or two?
Re: The New Hitchhiking Ghosts
With a little more than a month to go, I refuse to watch the video. I want to experience it in person first.
memo to self: tell Adi her ghost's name is Phineas....

You are correct with Gus but Phineas and Ezra should be swapped.mindflipper wrote:Okay, I tend to get the names confused, so if someone can correct me, please do:

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Oops, according to MadEye I got them switched, so the tall one freeloading at your home is Ezra, not Phineas.momeja wrote:With a little more than a month to go, I refuse to watch the video. I want to experience it in person first.![]()

Yes you are correct about the ghost does different stuff if there is 1, 2 or 3 people in the buggy..according to WDI
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

They probably didn't do this, but I wish they did it like Spaceship Earth that when you get off the ride you can send the ride animation to yourself by e-mail. It would be cool if you keep the Hitchhiking Ghost mirror animation as a souvenier from the ride. However, WDW's HM just doesn't have the space at the exit to install such a thing...packwingfn wrote:Yes you are correct about the ghost does different stuff if there is 1, 2 or 3 people in the buggy..according to WDI

They feared you would rant too hard at computer kiosks ruining the experience.

True, but that's where having a semi-detached gift ship connected to it would come in good to host a system like this...Wizzard419 wrote:They feared you would rant too hard at computer kiosks ruining the experience.

Re: The New Hitchhiking Ghosts
Not sure how to react to the new hitchhiking ghosts. Part of me is excited about the change, yet part of me wishes it to be the same for traditional reasons. I guess I will have to make my decision if I like the change or not until after I see it in person.

Too late, Amy, you probably already have! It would explain all your problems with the Mac. You never know what mischief playful spooks can get up to...Amy wrote:I'll continue to visit him, but I don't think I want to take him home
